Oprah banned from Obama program for being too fat and too "elite" for his and Michelle's agendas. Think Oprah will be supporting Obama for a 2nd term like she did the first time?

Birds of a feather (esp. same color) stick together. If it is true she is being slighted, she could hurt him badly if she wished. I doubt that she would do that though.

I think they all favor their skin color and money. They don't support anybody based on their merit. I am sure I will be accused of being a Racist. But I don't care what you think, I believe that only those who have merit and some job experience should be in any elected office. especially the Presidency. If it were me that was insulted like Oprah was by the Elite in the White House, I would be demanding that my donations be refunded.

Oprah will have to weigh in one way or the other during the campaign season, or risk becoming irrelevant. She can't support Romney, or she'll alienate her enormous gay following and support system. My guess is that she'll take the Klein book with a grain of salt, as any astute reader will, and will support Obama, albeit less enthusiastically than she did in 2008.

Oprah made a huge mistake by wading into politics...Her career was pretty much over at that point....The way I read it was that the Moose and Valerie Jarrett were jealous of Oprah and Obama and felt that Oprah was trying to take the First Lady spot from her and they froze her out...if Oprah was going to campign for him again, she would have started already.....

It's but one of several I've seen, including in left-leaning Lamestream.

Google the words "Obama abandons Oprah" and "Obama throws Oprah under the bus," then see how much comes up on the subject from a wide array of sources.

If someone votes for a black man or woman with the right principles, like Allen West, then it's okay to vote for him or her ADDITIONALLY for reasons of ethnicity, when it's to counter-balance the opposing side's use of ethnicity.

If Romney picks West as his VP, for example, West would help Romney siphon off a couple of those 12 million black votes Obama will otherwise get. Especially blacks from "Bible Belt" states. And, in an election as close as most experts say the next one will be, a couple million votes one way or another can very well decide who wins.

    C-ZAR™, Emperor of the PHÆT
Even if West was picked as VP, that doesn't guarantee the Black vote, like I SAID: Blacks don't vote color, there are many a reason why Blacks won't vote for West, his platform, things he may have said in the past, If West represents their economic interests and..chances are, if you're a poor Black person, that answer is probably no.
The ONLY Blacks that might vote for him are rich, Republican Blacks, poor ones don't have a dog in that race

You failed to note what I said above:
"West would help Romney siphon off a couple of those 12 million black votes Obama will otherwise get."

No one would expect West to be able to attract all 12 million black votes to Romney's side. But it is likely that more than a few, possibly a couple million, would be attracted to vote Republican if Allen West is on the ticket.
