A Limbaugh spokesman said that California mattress
company Sleep Train asked to restart a “voiced endorsement” from
Limbaugh that it had publicly cut off last week. The company said at the
time that it “does not condone such negative comments toward any
person.”…

Sleep Train’s departure from the program had been billed by some
observers as particularly significant because the mattress retailer had
been with Limbaugh show for 25 years. Yet the tone of Sleep Train’s
withdrawal statement last Friday hinted it might not be pulling out for
the long run…

Limbaugh spokesman Brian Glicklich on Thursday forwarded a copy of an
email that he said had been sent to Sleep Train Chief Executive Dale
Carlsen. In it, Glicklich wrote that Limbaugh had personally received
the company’s requests to resume advertising on his show.

“Unfortunately,” Glicklich wrote, “your public comments were not well
received by our audience, and did not accurately portray either Rush
Limbaugh’s character or the intent of his remarks. Thus, we regret to
inform you that Rush will be unable to endorse Sleep Train in the
future.”
OH SNAP!

Funny the backlash these companies are feeling.Thousands of phone calls threatening to boycott the boy cotters.Rush even thanked the webs that posted their support for him.I think this spooked the libtards myself. The silence is deafening. They were pretty sure he was going to be kicked off the radio. Came back twice as strong. LOL all I can say to the libtards is

You gotta remember.. There is a CABAL of Democrat Lawmakers,, headed up by Pelosi and Boxer and others who sent OFFICIAL letters to these companies THREATENING them if they DIDN'T pull their advertizing.. I consider this an ABUSE of Power and the Office they hold but hey,, DOn't expect anything to happen here as a result..

Reid did the SAME thing when Rush EXPOSED the Democrat's "Phoney Soldier" scam and it BACKFIRED on Reid but in the end,, he paid absolutely NO Price for his attempt at EXTORTION.. .

Mike Malloy begs for sponsors, then trashes them for being corporatists, perhaps 'Sleep Train' should get in touch with him; they could advertise to all 25 of his listeners.

I am sure that Rush has plenty of potential sponsors, and doesn't need any former sponsor that pissed on him just to be PC. They made their decision, now let them live with it.

Rush made Carbonate - I had never heard of them before hearing about them on his show.

If Ms. Fluke can't find a $160,000 (the average earnings for a beginning attorney) job after graduation, she seems to have the experience to work for one of those ranches.

She said $3000 worth of birth control in 3 years at law school and that is fairly accurate since she does not qualify for the $9 birth control pills at Target. Are you being silly? Or do you subscribe to a restricted source of misinformation, such as The Blaze or Fox "News"?
  • Farnsworth Jane 2012/03/10 20:10:55

so she doesn't have $9.00 to buy it herself?
Seems if she can't scrape that together in a month, she needs to keep her legs together
  • Jane Farnsworth 2012/03/10 23:16:03

First she was not even concerned with herself and second you have to meet certain income level to qualify for the $9.

The $160,000 ??? That's about what graduated Georgetown Law School students make the first year. The latter was a sarcastic remark reflecting upon what we know about her now....some forms of prostitution have nothing to do with sex, e.g., "a person who willingly uses his or her talent or ability in a base and unworthy way." It appears that Ms. Fluke fits at least one of the definitions of prostitute...although she alludes to the the other definition.
  • Jane drdos1943 2012/03/10 13:53:15
    Jane
What do YOU consider a base and unworthy way? How about Rush flying to the Dominican Republic (a known hub for pedophiles interested in little boys) with a suit case full of Viagra, is that a base activity or has he obtained worthiness by defining whores and sluts? A real pillar of the community.
