Now get back to your roots and think farming.
If you dam the river at the mountain top then what happens?
Answer; The valley goes dry and the cattle become skinny!
Same applies to MONEY, City Boy!
Here are the top 5 states:
-1. Texas – 3.068 million participants
-2. California - 2.99
-3. New York - 2.57
-4. Florida - 1.77
-5. Illinois - 1.71
What is telling with the data above is that Texas has 24 million people while California has 37 million yet Texas has more people receiving food stamps. Florida and Illinois have nearly the same amount of participants although Florida has 18 million people while Illinois has 13 million people.
Voter fraud is almost non-existent in this country, but this the rationale for needing voter ID laws. The purpose is to disenfranchise as many eligible voters who might vote Democratic as possible.
Eventually all such laws will be overturned in the courts, since they violate the 1965 Voting Rights Act. Requiring a photo ID is the same as requiring a poll tax, which was invalidated.
The R's never want a level playing field, because the know they can't win straight up. They must game the system, and this is an example.
The 2000 Florida case was not about voter fraud. It was about whether the recount should continue. The chads resulted from an archaic ballot design that caused confusion among voters. Several who thought they were voting for Al Gore were actually voting for Pat Buchanan.
Then there is the matter of thousands of votes being thrown out for no good reason, other than Katherine Harris wished for them to be tossed. Of course they were almost entirely in precincts known to favor Democrats.

There is voter fraud all over...its covered up when ever its brought to light.
Last I checked, people didn't die for their right to drive, and there's no elections to decide how well your driving will be for the next four years.
I know you may not think the right to vote is a serious issue, but you've got to try better than that.
Try again.
Like everyone that votes, drives? How provincial a thinker you are. I'm not impressed.
