Because I would have to lie or at least stretch the truth and I cannot do that. I was brought up not to lie. Growing up, I learned how much "lying could hurt people and break someone's reputation. I hate lying and gossiping. Am I perfect? No, I am as imperfect as anyone else. But I do really try to stick to the truth.

I lack the ability to look you’re in your face and lie to you. I have always had the problem of being short and to the point, if you ask me a question be ready for the answer because I’ll tell you know I feel on the subject.

I'd be murdered by the rich people who have crooked lawyers who find "loopholes" so the rich end up paying less taxes than the poor. Also, I would send all the "illegal aliens" back to where they came from and put the people who hire the illegals in jail. So, another reason I'd be murdered.....

If i was a politician... I would have been killed a long time by our gov't because I would have revealed to the public everything they have been desperately planning in order to reign absolute power

more than likely it would either be through a sniper or an IED... but I wold have to tell the people if i was killed in the coming months or years, the gov't would have planned and executed it

Even on a local level there are too many who feel if they campaign or donate for you to win you "owe" them something. I can't be bought. Plus all my life i have stood up for what I believe and that would get me into trouble with all the parties. And i think that is just fine!!

I could not run as a Democrat because I am presently to honest and firm in my principles.
I could not run as a Republican or third party because certain elements of my past could/would only be covered up by Democrats (but they would be all over it if running against them.)

The general public is largely ignorant of their need to vote. They complain but do nothing about it. Voters are a minority of a minority. To explain. Less than half of the population is eligible to register to vote; a significant number (sometimes over 50%) of voters do not vote. This makes voters a powerful minority. Lets be positive and VOTE NO on Obama.

because I can't lie with a straight face, or cheat people....and would feel so guilty that I had let my country down, and living like a king, and taking vacations, on the taxpayer's dollars, when so many are living back with parents, in cars, lost their jobs, and homes, have had to give up their pets...so much pain ....

Because I just don't have what it takes to be a politician. I can't just stand and spew um, baloney...or make sneaky little deals. Not sure how they can possibly keep track of all their digressions. I couldn't sleep with myself at night.
