Okay people, Obiecare does not have to be repealed! Any statements to such by politicians is purely for show! Why you ask?

This is why. The House has the power to remove funding from any law, or action by the US govt, making it non-existent. All the House has to do, is vote not to fund Obiecare and it is done, kaput, over, finished, does not exist.
You see, the House does not need approval from the POTUS or the SCOTUS or the Senate to remove funding from anything. A simple majority vote is all it takes. So don't be lulled into submission by Romney or any of the other so called Representatives stating they intend to repeal this law. It does not have to be repealed, just take away the financing. Period! You getting it now? Sheesh, I hope so.

What the house can do and what the house will do are two different things. Same as what a politician says he wiil do and what he actually does or doesn't do.

This is true and I wish it were being discussed more. However, there has already been large amounts of funding built into the bill when it was passed. I would love for the Reps to refuse to fund it, then for it to be repealed by congress next year.

I agree, it would still be on the books. However, with deficits as high as they are, the dollar basically valueless, it would be difficult for any future POTUS to implement. Not impossible, but difficult. The point is, without funding, it would make it much easier to vote for a repeal. If they see the majority won't give it funding, then the wind is taken out of the sails.

The pres still needs to sign off on it, and the mix in Congress doesn't support it much less a 2/3 override. We have to bulldoze Harry out of the way and pack both houses, first.

The pres does not have to sign off on removal of the funding. That is the beauty of it. The House can do it without the Senate or the POTUS approval.

repeal, shut down the tax roll to support it and BOTH houses start over from BOTH parties. otherwise . screw it! and the senators and congressmen. they all toast.

I have known that all along - but a repeal is final - a non funding is not - they can simply steal the money from social security and they have before so it is precident - and there is a self funding clause in obamacare

I mean,if this were true,that would remove the left vs right paradigm that we keep hearing about!. By comparison,if racism was no longer,how would sharpton and jackson make money or if a cancer cure was found,we would run out of cancer patients to feed drugs to that don't cure but mask symptoms. I agree. That is the point. They can parade around making all these grand statements and gestures, but the truth is they can end it without getting the Senates approval. The people need to call them out on their deceit!
