Question News & Politics

OK... folks..... really think about it. Is Obama away from Washington too much...... ?? Away more than there?

Mattynr June 02, 2009 17:13:25

It cost $57,000 dollars an HOUR......to fly around trip on Air Force One.
Plus all the expense of staff, media and security.

" out a bit too much?"

In 100 days....... he has been to FL, NH, VA, IL, IN, CO, NM, MO, CA, NV, NY, AZ,
(some states twice) Europe, he is off to Europe again, and Middle East, Egypt,
Mexico (didn't he go to Mexico?)
and where in the hell is
Camp David... there too before his Europe trip.
Count the hours round trip..... on cost.
But, he needs to stay in Washington...... meet with someone, have staff meetings.
Read some mail.....
WORK......... BE GLAD HE HAS A JOB, MANY AMERICAN DON'T
He was out of town, Los Angeles with Leno when the Chief of staff from Israel came to
Washington. He didn't just drop in, it was scheduled but when he got here he had to
cut his visit short and go home.
Nobody........ not one cabinet member would meet with him........ SNUBBED.....
OH, I don't know could talking about Iran and Nuclear Power be important?
"Talking" isn't that one of Obama's prime interests .
Certainly not ACTION......... Our Kumbaya President in Chief.
Maybe it is "Keep Moving and Look Busy" UNREAL.... REALLY

Since he is gone all the time and admitted prior to the election he has no clue how to run a country, we should be wondering who is running it for him , eh? Whoever that is has exposed publically our secret nuclear locations...etc. Are those people being prosecuted as they should be for treason? No. Is he ashamed of frightening his own fellow Americans by having Air Force 1 do a fly by low enough to make them believe another muslim attack was happening ...no.. and for all of any of us knows..he is the one who instigated it and may even use the videos to laugh at Americans with.

He belongs to a supposedly christian church which pledges its allegiance to Africaa NOT America and whose theology is proudly " Black Liberation Theology" which embraces that only black MEN are "god" ( ie: since God refuses to do what black men want .... they changed God to suit their agenda ) and that annihilation/genocide of whites is good ..but of course he never heard any of that after twenty years of sleeping through church.

How many times does an American voter need to be slapped in the face with TRUTH before they "get it" ?

The same people that moaned and groaned and got upset that George Bush spent so much time in Crawford are most likely the same ones who think it is fine for President Pantywaist to galavant all over the world at our expense.

He does what he does as president. A part of that is interreacting with world leaders. It is the congress that must pass bills and do the work of the startes they represent. Besides, a phone call is as good as a meeting at home sometimes. I am sure he is where he needs to be. I am by the way not an Obama supporter. But some things in washington apply to all leaders.

He's done more as President in his 1st 100 days than Shrub did-- and lest you forget, Shrub spent more than 2 YEARS of his term on vacation.

But, what he has done in those 100 days has not been to the country's benefit. I'm not going to wait for him to totally destroy my country before I call for his impeachment.
  • The San... keymanjim June 02, 2009 18:14:00 (edited)
    The Sane One
No, but you SHOULD wait until he commits an impeachable offense.

    Edited to add:

Very little of what the Bush Administration did during ITS terms had been to the benefit of the country-- and his actions led DIRECTLY to the situation we're now in.

Did you call for HIS impeachment?

Such as puting a tax evader incharged of the treasury ?
  • The San... Brandon June 02, 2009 18:19:51 (edited)
    The Sane One
Please state EXACTLY (citing the relevant case law) what makes that an impeachable offense.

It is treason. He has given a criminal access to our nations treasury.
  • The San... Brandon June 02, 2009 18:26:23
    The Sane One
The Constitution of the United States, Art. III, defines treason against the United States to consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid or comfort.

By definition, then, Obama DID NOT commit the act of treason.

Ok, Giving Tim Geithner the tax evading criminal this job was wrong but that is okay .
  • The San... Brandon June 02, 2009 18:34:32
    The Sane One
I didn't say that-- I said that he hadn't committed an impeachable offense YET.

I bet you think that it was a wise decision, don't you ?
  • The San... Brandon June 02, 2009 18:36:13
    The Sane One
    No, not really.

Geithner-- in addition to his tax problems-- has too strong a tie to the people who CAUSED the banking meltdown in the first place.

The appointment of Geithner was putting the fox in charge of the hen house.

I forgot to mention all of the other tax evading criminals that he has put into his administration.

    Undecided

Yes he is, but let him be in office a year (remember how many vacations Bush took?); I feel certain Obama will make Bush seem as though he never left the oval office.
