O.J. Simpson's trial, December 5th, 2008, will be the last meeting between O.J. and the jury before Simpson is sentenced for a minimum of 15 years with a possibility of an extra 5. Jokes have been fluttering that considering O.J. Simpson's age and health... even 15 years could be life. However, Nevada's state parole agency is argued for an 18 year prison sentence, minimum, but didn't get their wish.
Simpson has apologized to judge, stating that he never meant to steal from anyone... (???) The trial took place in the Clark County District Court, in Nevada. For those unaware of Simpson's recent background, O.J.Simpson was convicted of trying to steal more than $100,000 worth of memorabilia in September of 2007 with use of deadly force.

    I say death penalty but I am reffing to the big first fiasco he was in. When it comes to this case 15 years is around the right time but he should already be dead anyways. And with my personal opinion I don't believe in the life sentence if you did a crime heinous enough to get life you've done one bad enough to get the death penalty I don't want to be paying millions of dollars to keep a criminal alive until he dies of old age. I will how ever be more then willing to buy the bullet or the rope for him. We need justice to return to this Country. Not get a free pass because people know your name!

    If your stupid ass would have been listening to the testimony you would know where i get my information, but i guess you're one of those idiots with selective hearing because you were already biased against OJ. His KIDS testified that they saw their mom trickin with Ron Goldman, and so did Faye Resnik. Most of you were so busy wanting a conviction, the police that invetigated the case and all dropped the damn ball, and especially when that damn nazi cop tried to plant evidence, that fukka should have been fired but Fuhrman still works for the LAPD, what a miscarrige of justice, so if the glove don't fit, you must acquit, and there it was to most peoples outrage, but their actions( Nicole & Goldman) got them a fresh hole in the ground, and thats where they belong. Crackheads of a feather fuck together, and this time they got fucked.

    I cannot stand this man at all but the death sentence at all.
    He found not guilty on something he did and that would have been the death sentence but nobody died in this case but he was wrong for what he did and that is a fact.
    To me this sends out a very loud message that these kind of things should never be done no matter the reason and that is a fact.

    This is a separate case from the murder trial of the nineties and you can`t inject a death penalty to make up for O.J. being acquitted for the Simpson/Goldman murder just because public opinion believes he`s guilty.

    but not for this crime. but for the murder of nichole and ron, but the jury made that decision and the poor families and the citizens had to accept that verdict. but he did lose the civil suit and he should have done what he was suppose to by paying the goldmans and browns, instead of attempting to hide his assets to keep the goldmans from obtaining them. i dont think this brings any closure to any of the families, but at least he is off the streets and unable to hurt or kill anybody else. and will spend many years spending time alone in his cell, eating his meals three times a year, and one hour a day or week with time with family or friends.

    The Goldmans should have also lost the civil suit when OJ wasnt convicted and i would have hid all my shit offshore and wouldnt give them shit, no matter what the Judge said.

    He didnt deserve none of it, this was just a way to get him for Nicole and Goldman, and that Thomas guy set him up, it was clear that it was a setup because the whole room was bugged and Thomas was the one who informed OJ that his merchandise was in that room. It's the Goldman's who should be getting sued by the people whose lives he ruined running around selling dope, and Nicole got what she deserved too by turning tricks in front of her and Oj's kids with Goldman, i would have killed her too, her and that dope dealing bastid, they got what they deserved and OJ was convicted of a setup, not a real crime. Nobody used any deadly force, nobody was shot and nobody was beat up, so this case was just to get back at him for that murder case they couldnt prove he done. You people just pissed off because he killed 2 white people, if they were black, nobody posting on here would be saying shit about it, and you idiots talking about we, we aint did shit, you didnt convict him and had no involvement in it then talking about we. I hope OJ's family and friends wipe the Goldman's out and that Thomas guy too, they all deserve it.

    I agree with most of what you said. It is true that this court ruling convicted him for the crime of Nicole's death. White people do not believe that a black man should get off for killing a white person. That's basically what this is all about. They can not get over that fact. Is racism still alive? You bet it is, right here in your face.

    I do not agree that the Goldman's family should be wiped out. They deserve to rot in jail for life.

    Thats a blatant lie lady, you know damn well there is still racism and still that case had everything to do with racism, and a personal vendetta by the Goldmans who probably paid Thomas to set him up, and i was stating the facts, had that been 2 black people there would not have been one week of publicity after the fact, and this shit has went on for 14 years, Goldmans stanken ass always up in the cameras talking shit. His son is where he belongs, in the ground. He killed more people than OJ did, he was a cocaine dealer, look around you and see how many lives and families that shit has destroyed and you tell me if OJ was wrong for killing him for fucking his wife in front of their children for drugs, I would have did it too. If you did a survey and asked people their opinion regarding OJ, you will see that the majority of people who believe OJ should get the death penalty will be white. You are correct, there are a lot of people who live with prejudices, black, white, chinese, etc. If you are not a racist the statement would not have affected you the way it did.     The whole thing was on tape and he was screwed when the other 3 participants rolled over on him. His lawyer was an idiot and did not do a very good job. There was too much press and the judge was dumb for mentioning the previous murder trial just to be on the record. He could possible get a re-trial since the judge mentioned the murder trial 13 years ago.

    For THIS crime I think the punishment is correct. Perhaps he deserves more for past crimes, but in our judicial system past crimes don't count.

    Not the first time criminal here. If he had been found guilty of what he really did then Life in Prison. But that ship sailed. He is found guilty of this crime and I think maybe people think he should be sentenced for the murders. No can do. We all hate it but .....
    He is an idiot. He did something so stupid most can't believe it. As i look at sentencing for other crimes and trying to be fair, for this crime only the 15 years is about right. Do I like it? NO
