Oh, so now that the Supreme Court might strike down his boondoggle. They are not worthy of being the third branch and watch dogs of our Constitution. But all his unelected Czars and Cronies, in all the Agencies can do what they damn well please.

Not to mention the fact that the overwhelming congressional vote. Was all Democrats, who had to lie, cheat, and bribe each other to pass it. And locked the Republicans from participating in the bills writing or making amendments to. I find his statements deplorable, and misrepresenting the issue at hand. Obama Care Less is going down, and he and the lying Democrats that passed it in the first place, should all go down together.

Obama warns 'unelected' Supreme Court against striking down health law

The president spoke at length about the case at a joint press conference
with the leaders of Mexico and Canada. The president, adopting what he
described as the language of conservatives who fret about judicial
activism, questioned how an "unelected group of people" could overturn a
law approved by Congress.

"I'm confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an
unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed
by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," Obama said.

Seems obama has found his new enemy of the week...the Supreme Court, obama is despicable. And don't think obama doesn't know how the vote went down; I'm sure his little puppet snitch Kagen ran right down to the WH and told him. It's a sure sign the vote isn't favorable to him or he wouldn't be in front of a camera right now lambasting the Court.

He knows his signature piece of legislation is in trouble and the only thing he knows to do is the old Chicago thing, issue a verbal threat.

Interestingly enough, all of our elected, or appointed officials take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States (not the government, and not the country, but the Constitution), and some people on the Supreme Court are the only ones that do, it seems.

Deciding a law is unconstitutional is hardly "unprecedented", and is not an "extraordinary step". President Obama knows this, as he is a Constitutional Law professor. His problem is he does not like the Constitution and thinks it is flawed. Which makes me wonder how he was able to take his oath of office in the first place.

ObamaCare is an unprecedented power grab, and is an extraordinary step in changing the relationship between the federal government and the citizens, and therefore will be found unconstitutional, and the whole 2700 page law will be thrown out.

The justices of the Supreme Court should be the most strict Constitutionalists that can be found. The looney left appoints only those who will march to their tune, the Constitution be damned. They have made the court political but not political enough to suit them when it comes to ignoring the Constitution and promoting their agenda. I listened to the bastard whine and wanted to puke ... obama is a complete and total disgrace.

Obama's arrogance is on full display. Amazingly, because of a few voters in an handful of swing states, this guy might get re-elected.

I'm confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an

unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed

by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," Obama said

    Lets review:

Obama got his ObamaKare 'law' passed, which the majority of Americans didnt want, by a 'strong majority' of congress. Of course Obie doesnt mention the circus his democratically elected congress turned out to be over this POS 'law', so much so that even with a Dem majority it wasnt getting passed. He also neglected to mention having to bribe some members with hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to get enough votes.

He also doesnt mention the hundreds of millions included within that POS 'law' that funds his "National Security Force"...his own para-military organisation. WTH does that have to do with alleged "healthcare"? Is that why the DHS is ordering 450 million rounds of .40 caliber ammunition? Who knows what other non-healthcare related crap is in that 'law'?

Obama is the worst president in American history, as is his administration.

The simple fact is the Court is the final arbitrator of the law on Constitutional grounds. He knows that and can piss and moan all he wants.
  • susan 2012/04/03 03:07:56
Obama claimed to be a constitutional scholar, but apparently he didn't understand the separation of powers into three branches of government that is the very basis of the Constitution.

Liberals should be scared, too. Indeed, all citizens of the US should be scared of this President's disregard for the law of the land.
Remember, this is how Hitler took over Germany and destroyed it. He re-interpreted one clause in the Weimar constitution and used it to claim every power to himself on behalf of the "welfare of the people."
History tends to repeat itself because people do not remember the past and do not learn from it.

So rather than even trying to think about the facts and truth, you name-call. Go back to through history and read for the events that led up to dictatorships, tyranny, slavery (not just in the US), and the Holocaust. Try reading "The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" by William Shirer, along with some of the historical accounts of the fall of Germany in 1933 and the end of the freedoms under the Weimar Republic's Constitution (ended by Hitler's declarations that he was suspending its guarantees for the "welfare of the people).
If that is still too deep for you, take a good look at what is happening in Argentina right now and has been building under the Kirchner regimes. (BTW, their government and media lie too. For example, inflation there is "officially" at 10%, but most economists peg it at 20%.) Look at the Chavez administration in Venezuela.

Then stop name-calling and deal with facts and the truth.
BTW, I have not proposed any conspiracy theories in my little history lessons for you. Those are the facts and are verifiable.

Everything I have written in the above little history lessons are facts. These things actually happened in Germany from 1918-1933.
They are verifiable in history records and in written records of the time. If you will take the time to search the internet, the Weimar Constitution is online, as are the voting records of the 1925 election of Paul Hindenburg to the office of the Presidency in Germany under that constitution and the records of Hitler's actions in bringing that government down. Only a fool denies historical records and refuses to recognize facts and evidence.

    i still don't get it.
why are conservatives not willing to reform current health care system.
why should we accept the increase of our premium at 3 times more than the inflation?
why should the rest of us have to pay for the freeloaders?
why so many on medicare are opposed?

Someone should tell the "Constitutional Law Professor" that it doesn't matter how many voted for a piece of legislation the SCOTUS's job is the same; to determine the Constitutionality of the law in question.
