OH, HAPPY DAYS! DID THE TAXPAYER JUST GET SCREWED AGAIN?

~ The Rebel ~ 2011/06/03 07:48:34

The White House Wednesday touted a resurgent U.S. auto industry as justification for a massive government auto bailout but also admitted taxpayers may still be on the hook for as much as $14 billion in losses from the deal.

“The latest number from the CBO, I think, was a $14 billion loss,” said Ron Bloom, the Obama administration’s lead manufacturing adviser. “And that reflects market prices at the time they did it. The final number will be the final number,” Bloom continued. “[T]here is no joy … in recognizing that all of this money will not be returned.”

A lot of people saw this coming. But, like they said... they were busy taking care of their family, working to pay the bills, put food on the table and a roof over their head. So, you elect people you think will take care of the problem and whoops all of a sudden you discover things are going from bad to worse. So, now it's down to the wire and they're making time to keep themselves informed!

There's also supposed to be a black panther, bear and I know there are deer in the forest. We save the best for when company's coming... *smile*

We leave most of the animals alone and try not to interfere with nature as best we can. So far it looks like we have had minimal impact on our environment. One thing we miss are pets; they are strictly forbidden. There's enough friendly animals around to satisfy everyone. The gorillas in the next village don't like dogs at all!

I suspect that's why the bear and panther are still out there. There's only been a sighting of one of each... Maybe they're hoping they'll each find a mate and multiply? And there's plenty of deer so one for when company comes and to fill the freezer I doubt would have an impact.
