I seriously think Barack Obama presented the best platform our country can use today to get out of the trouble of the last seven years of hell the Republican Administration put our country in and that in contrast to the dangers and risks associated with nuclear energy as John McCain proposed, green energy with jobs created by wind and solar energy, will be the best choice for our environment and country and Barack Obama understands that well.

Of course Barak won the debate. McCain was weak and a disapointment to the Republicans. But, my heart is still not with the Obama campagian. Hillary was my choice and if I have to... then I will vote for Obama. They both lacked the depth that Hillary could have brought to the debate. She is brilliant, and savvy. Maybe Biden will announce that he is "having health problems". (I'm for keeping that idea going)!

I think that the VP Debate was Awesome! last nights presidential Debate was so much better. I love the way Barack Obama open'ed up the debate with the story of the CEO's of Lehman and Lehman. He is deffinetly way more eloquent than McCain.

Can either candidate explain the inherent evil of debt slavery in our current global economic system?

by "debt slavery" do you mean indentured servitude?

and can you please explain what you mean by "global economic paradigm"?

    pic is cool!!

Hey, sorry for the late reply. By "debt slavery" I refer to individuals working 40+ hours per week just to pay their credit card bills. Basically modern indentured servitude.
The global economic system I refer to is the system used across the globe - the problem I have with the system is that it assumes limited resources. We have the money to feed and house every human being on earth.

I am not a great McCain fan, simply for the fact he is republican, and I have never shared republican beliefs. However, there are none who can have questions in their minds as to his loyalty and love for our great nation. He has committed his life to serving America and her people and standing for what and all that he believes in. However, on the other side... Obama has shown nothing in his service except that he is driven. Driven to get where he wants to go, damn the cost and who he has to steam roll over. He has shown lack of judgement in his dealings with who he associates with and who he'll run over to get where he's going. He has no record of being for the American people, at all. Notably, he has served as a community organizer, but those he organized were not a mix of ALL people. And the tactics that have been reported are scary, as are those he worked with.

I am a Hillary fan. Love her or hate her, Hillary has served the American people with passion all of her life. I cannot bring myself to vote for Barack Obama, no matter how the debate goes. I have still fresh in my mind and heart the destruction of 9-11, terror in the hearts of every American, brought on by those who hate America and Americans. I am far more suspicious today than I was on 9-10-01. I have mistrust fo...

I am sorry, Barack Obama has too many issues for me to trust him as my president of the greatest country in the world. I only wish Hillary were still in the race.

palomino: ditto about everything you just wrote!

especially about hillary. i miss her so much that i can't bare to watch her because in my heart of hearts i believe she is the one who should be on the stage debating McCain.

Oh what life would be like right now if she were the nominee!!

Ready for a Hillary v. Sarah throwdown in 2012?
It'll be a TKO by Hillary within the first seconds of the first round, but I'll bring the popcorn!!!

I'm loving popcorn. I am the same way about Hillary. She is America... concern for all, loyal, and trustworthy. Sure, she is not without fault, we all have them, but again, she is America. Sarah Palin has her good and bad. If I met her in the street I would like her. I just can't share the republicans beliefs with her. I am afraid we will all regret not having Hillary in the White House.

and you think she hates gays because....you heard from the elite...in the tank for BxO...media?

    Puhleeze!!

Have u heard that BxO doesn't support same-sex marriage either?

and where is your false prophet, BxO, when comes to helping defeat Prop 8 in California?

    hmm?

I think a lot of people get confused about the Christian view on homosexuality. While Christians consider it a sin based on the Bible, they don't want to outlaw or legislate against it. Though, they don't want to offer rights like gay marriage either. I wouldn't say that Governor Palin hates gays any more than Barack Obama, a Christian opposed to gay marriage hates gays. They have to carry their religious standard.

Hmmmmm. I have become very discouraged by McCain. Sarah Palin is a disgrace to the republican ticket as well as to women. The economy is in shambles and all McCain and pitbull Palin can talk about is smear tactics. I expected so much more from them. They think this is all a big joke. I have lost my job and my husband could lose his in the coming month. It is real hard for me to see any good in McCain. He does not seem to have a clue the economy is a mess and all Palin can do is wink or make snide comments. How does that advance the ball? Maybe McCain will do a good job tonight. He does well in these kind of formats. I hope he devotes his attention to the serious economic issues at hand. Stop playing games and get serious about this campaign.
