Please start your comment with the write-in name for a positive (yes) vote, or with the word "NOT" followed by the write-in name for a negative (No) vote.
An "Undecided" vote can be used to leave a comment but will not be counted for or against any potential vice-president.
You may choose who would you like most to see as the Vice President if and when Barack Obama becomes the President of the United States of America, by voting "Yes" and writing in that person's name as the first line of your comment.
---
For examples, if you answered no, you might write in something like...
Albert Gore (Albert Arnold Gore, Jr.; aka Al Gore; former Vice President)
...Because he was a popular choice world-wide when he ran for president.
---
Alternatively you may choose to indicate who you would be most opposed to seeing as Vice President if and when Barack Obama becomes the President of the United States of America, by voting "No" and writing in "NOT" followed by that person's name on the first line of your comment.
---
For examples, if you answered no, you might write in something like...
NOT Jesse Jackson (the Reverend Jesse Louis Jackson, Sr.; former presidential candidate)
...Because I don't share his views on [_insert_objections_here_].
---
IMPORTANT: If you vote "No" and fail to put the word NOT or AGAINST in front of the write-in name, I will count it as an error.
Likewise, if you vote "YES" and write NOT or AGAINST in front of the name, I will count that as an error also.
If the write-in name is not on the first line, it may quite possibly not get correctly counted.
Approval will be rated by subtracting the votes AGAINST a potential Vice President from the votes FOR the same individual, so cast a positive vote if you have one and keep in mind that a negative write-in for an extremely unlikely possibility will probably be a somewhat wasted vote.
Please use full first and last name (correctly spelled if possible) for easy sorting, followed optionally by any title or other identifying information in parentheses.
If you would like some ideas of who to write in, look at other people's answers first and see if there's one you like or particularly dislike.
Here are some suggestions for consideration, included here to help keep spelling consistent for easier sorting and counting...

No
NOT Hillary Clinton (despite starting out looking good, her unwillingness to accept inevitable defeat and move on for the good of the party, and her rash statements about being shot at when she wasn't, about obliterating Iran, about it being a good idea to cut gas tax, etc., clearly show she can't be trusted as a leader. It is a shame - this would have been the 'dream ticket', if she hadn't gone off the rails so much)View thread

Definately sounds like it would be going in the right direction.
Also, added Brian Schweitzer (Brian David Schweitzer; Governor of Montana) to the suggestions list.

Thanks also for your comments on why you would not want Hillary Clinton as Barack Obama's vice president.

I'm guessing that in your comment, by Baye of Ind., you had meant Michael Baye...

Comment noted as well. Thanks Greg. :)

Thomas Jefferson
For now I have looked up... "Bin Laden" as you had stated and can not find a potential vice president by that first and last name. Wikipedia acknowledges it as a commonly used name for "Osama Bin Laden" but I won't presume to believe that you would actually want to advocate for such a person to be the Vice President of the United States of America.

I did notice that you "ended" your comment with "Thomas Jefferson" but the only Thomas Jefferson I could verify information on has been dead for 120 years, and I'm pretty sure he would have to be alive to hold the position. Also, his name should have been first in your post if that's who you wanted, so... joke acknowledged.
Feel free to edit your comment if you change your mind and actually want to cast a valid vote in this poll. Thanks.

For now... Write-in vote for Kathleen Sebelius as Barack Obama's vice president, acknowledged. Thanks.
Also... your short list, noted. :)

Sorry, but he doesn't have a brother by that name. If you had followed the rules, I would have counted your vote in spite of that fact, but I'll just count it as a joke. Feel free to edit your comment if you want to change it to a vote that will actually get counted for as advocating for a particular choice.
Perhaps you just wanted to demonstrate that unlike some people out there, you're not scared of rhymes. :)
