Check it out! Obama's ridiculous (and scary) "life of Julia" campaign on his website has a fictitious "Julia" receiving "benefits" "under President Obama" from age 3 to death!

Two things -- First, this "cradle to grave" government care system that Obama wants to implement would put us in the fast lane on the "Road to Serfdom", and second, poor "Julia" is "Under President Obama" from age 3 to 67 -- It appears that Obama doesn't just plan on serving a second term but 14 - 15 terms after that!

This next Presidential election, the country will decide if we are ready to embrace socialist policies were the government controls your major life issues, or if we are going to take-back our founders principles of smaller government, less taxation and the right to pursue happiness on our own terms.

Joe is born. Because he's not a minority, no special programs will be created for him. He won't get into PreK or other support programs because he isn't the demographic being supported by such programs. Because his mother can't afford a good preschool, he will start Kindergarten already behind.
Joe, as the child of a single Mom, will more likely live in poverty and be unsupervised from an early age. This means he will be victimized by older students as well as being available to exploitation by drug dealers and others who do not have Joe's interest at heart. There are few programs for young at risk male students outside the urban core.
Joe enters public schools. The ideals of group work, collaboration and technology will support female students. Joe, along with other male students will be more inclined to be labeled as at risk, as learning disabled or as a problem student. Competition which is hardwired into the male pscyhe will be condemned. Group work will be the norm. Everyone will get a trophy.

Joe, along with other male students will be more inclined to be labeled as at risk, as learning disabled or as a problem student. Competition which is hardwired into the male pscyhe will be condemned. Group work will be the norm. Everyone will get a trophy.

Due to the boredom experience by Joe and his male peers, they will frequently act out, leading them to be disciplined by removal far more often than girls. Minority males will experience this more frequenlty. Consequently most boys by middle school will resent school teachers and administrators. They will track into a confrontational mode for the rest of their educational careers.

Joe will enter a lower tier college as white males are deferred from entry in favor of female or minority students. This sets them up for lower income and progressive view this as a societal necessity in order to level the playing field. Fewer males of all colors will graduate, fewer will enter college, fewer will graduate from college setting many young males up for a lifetime of struggle. Those who do enter college may be confronted with a culture that is anti-straight male. This will be made clear to them at orientation where a person from the University will repeatedly condemn much of what is normal male behavior. Many colleges will use a gender neutral method of allocating rooms and gay males may end up rooming with straight males. And if they are not a minority, they are even less desireable to hire because government entities require quotas.

Once they graduate, males, but especially white males, will be less desirable hires by high profile firms especially in competitive professions like law, engineering and corporate firms. This will lead to underemployment or unemployment by highly educated males. Desperation may lead some into grad school where they will rack up more student loan debt. Thos who cannot do that will be more inclined to commit crimes. They will follow peer models in the media with drugs and alcohol abuse. Many will cycle through rehab repeatedly. This will result in career histories that are not inclined to ever progress beyond basic income needs. They will never feel they are able to afford families, although that won't stop many of them from fathering children. Many of their children will have no male role model in the home if indeed they have one at all.Males will be considered expendable according to the lights of progressive favoritism that rewards sex, gender preference or race over merit.

Having no stable job history, with a history of petty crimes and the burden of child support, these men will linger on expecting government largess that never comes. Eventually they will either give up and drop out or become militant. Government is not a male American's best friend.

Not a "white" male's best friend, for sure. One has only to look at what was done to the twenty white firefighters(including Hispanics) in New Haven, Conn. after they passed the test for advancement and were told, "Wait a minute", the test was not "fair." However they have won their reverse discrimination lawsuit and New Haven is shoveling out the "big bucks" for their discrimination.

We used to be a nation where the best person, regardless of race or gender, got the job, or at least that was the ideal. Now we are a nation where everything from entry into PreK to college to employment has strings attached. And the worst ones about this are government entities who seem to think every job, every contract and every program must have a quota assigned.

LOL - I hadn't taken the time to read that one before: "Julia needs money for college. Luckily she lives in a state with unionized teachers"????

The last time I looked private schools, mainly parochial, with non-union teachers far outperformed "unionized teachers."

Obama has ALWAYS been about unions. Andy Stern of SEIU is a frequent visitor and his union thugs were active in Wisconsin as well as action intimidating people who opposed Obamacare in peaceful protests in places like Missouri. This is why Obama bailed out GM. Had GM been bought out, the lucrative union contracts would have gone away.

One of my favorites of his speeches is the one he gave to an SEIU convention, when he screamed "SEIU's agenda is my agenda!" The Republicans should use that clip in the campaign.

Since he doesn't have an equivalent campaign for men, you have to assume that he's going after the particular female demographic that flocks to liberals: single women. "Julia" was fatherless and likely had a lover who loved her and left her with a son to raise. That you can infer from the descriptions in the slideshow.

Obama has given up on middle-class white males - he knows he's lost them. He is once again trying to put together his "base", a collection of minority/special interest groups: Females, unions, gays, racial minorities, and enviro-wackos.

This whole year, as the Obama Administration/Campaign has been winding itself up to start the full on campaign, with the roll out of a mandate supposed to garner votes, followed by a "co ed" suppose to do damage control but only caused more damage, followed by "the GOP's War On Women" where Ann Romney was attacked for being a stay at home mother (another epic fail), I have thought one thing, amateur hour.

This latest roll out, "Life of Julia" is so amateur it should be on the Gong Show (if that was still on TV). The level of sophomore, political science major, class project of this one is breath taking. Once you get past that, there is the typical left wing "little girl I have candy," creepy man in the van approach to the whole presentation. For the people who this is aimed at, it is beautiful since all they care about is the candy, they do not think about being driven away in the Obama van. However, for most people who vote, they will see this ridiculous scheme for what it is, the government promise to give you stuff, but in a special education presentation.

If that is the case, then expect the phony "economic recovery" to be rolled out by the end of summer, and the more problematic scheme to divide us by ethnicity/race, gender, and faith, anything they can get traction on. Expect the later to start sooner, and not later, as it appears Obama has nothing, absolutely nothing. He is Carter 2.0!
