Could a second Obama cabinet member be found in contempt of
Congress? The possibility arose on Friday when House investigators
escalated their efforts to make Interior Secretary Ken Salazar comply
with a subpoena pertaining to the drilling moratorium that he imposed
after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

If any other of our Presidents had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?
If any other of our Presidents' administrations had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?
If any other of our Presidents had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?
If any other of our Presidents had created the position of 32 Czars who report directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate on much of what is happening in America, would you have ever approved.
If any other of our Presidents had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

My point was he is not really awesome and if someone on the right had done these things your side would be peeing themselves...
so how bout that possible contempt charge on yet another of the administration? That is pretty "cool" huh?
That possible contempt charge I'll have to wait and see... I for one am glad they shut it down and I haven't researched the whole story in awhile..
remember Bill Clinton's presidency? remember how he was hounded and hounded by people who were looking for criminal activity with White Water and accusing him of murder, fergoshsakes?
and Ken Starr spent millions and millions and millions of your and my tax dollars - to what end? they finally had to find him in contempt for SLEEPING WITH SOMEONE OTHER THAN HIS WIFE.
this is more of the same. they're trying to 1] make sure no Democratic president can ever govern (they failed with Clinton and they'll fail with Obama, too, but they WILL try) and 2] convince every Democrat who glances at the White House that it's not worth the trouble.
after what happened with Clinton and then when Al Gore was running and the Republicans dug up a scandal regarding his accepting donations from Buddhists, I saw the writing on the wall. and yep - here they are, right on schedule.
meanwhile where are the jobs policies, Congress?
Next they all put their heads together, including Hillary and looked for a sure fire diversion. They asked this young intern if she wanted to play, for some cash of course and some future considerations. She said sure and the game was on. The FAKE Monica Lewinsky Blow Job took the country by storm. They fell for it hook, line and sinker. Ken Star spent Millions of the US Taxpayers money to keep Bill and Hillary out of jail at the least and possible other punishments associated with Treason were put to sleep.
The rest is history. Clinton and Larry Summers got the repeal of Glass Steigal through and that is the core of the Obama - Bush economic collapse.
