It should be titled "Obama's Green Scam". These pet projects are just a cover for paying back all of Obama's supporters.

Can you say, "Chicago-style cronyism?" All those taxpayer dollars just went down a rat-hole to pay back 0vomit's supporters' fabricating the vote for him (or as a down payment on 2012 votes).

The Eco-Freaks are putting up windmills off the MA coastline and are going to stick it up the A**es of the rate payers in New England. Regulators will force the rate payers to buy electricity at more than 40% higher cost than current sources.

Exactly. Because all the tree hugger/hypocrites in MA didn't voluntarily sign up to pay for more expensive power, we went from it being an option to purchase overpriced energy to being forced to.

the green scheme, including the EPA is the worst thing to happen in the USA, even worse than Obama. It has cost this country trillions of dollars and taken away jobs. Only a few have raked in the profits from the falsehood of the green scheme

Just about everything the lying socialist dictator in chief touches pretty much becomes a debacle.

The problem really is, is Obama's followers. They apparently missed the "We" in "yes we can!". Simple market research (why it would be nice IF Obama understood market analysis and trends, ie. BUSINESS) would have told Obama that his legions had NO INTENTION in buying into "his ideas" (buying Volts, Solyndra solar panels, Ener1 products, or the others). What he seems to fail to realize, is after being under water with mortgages, bills behind, lost jobs, and taking jobs that are temporary, doesn't really lead to where the average person can afford these things. Even the "Hollywood Hyprocrites" haven't done much to support these industries to create a market. Where are all these Rich movie stars buying fleets of Volts and lots of solar panel made by Solyndra (if not just to denote them to their favorite charity?)? To top it off, Obama followers are enjoying their jobless benefits SO much the jobless numbers and hiring numbers suck. But this is what happens when you want someone else to fix a problem and you're not really committed to the solution.

No, I really can't comment. I don't know very much about this particular subject other than this company got government aid and then failed.
The state of RI guaranteed 75 million for Curt Schilling's video game company and now that company is bankrupt, all the employees have been let go and some didn't even get the pay they were due. Stuff like this happens all the time. In fact more new businesses fail than succeed. But I don't know the details of the Solyndra deal.

Bing or google Solyndra, and you can see the numbers. So far over a Billion dollars in Subsidies to Solar companies has been lost as they go bankrupt.

Yes a lot of money went to back failing green businesses. That is like spitting into the wind.
