Many doctors and hospitals are going broke because they have to eat the cost of people who are uninsured.

nope,thats not true at all. it s a very complex set of circumstances.blame it on the govt mostly.basically its declining hospital patients. in the past a doctor could hospitalize a patient for days . now the govt says he has to have a reason that is acceptable to them or they won't pay,insurance companies started to do the same thing. and then there were more primary care centers opening,hospitals weren't needed. fewer people go into a hospital these days.

You can count on it. As a retired nurse, I personally know several who have stated they would most likely cease their practice rather than contend with 0bamacare's bureaucracy.

Before I give my comment on this I want everybody to know that I am against Obamacare. Doctors may become a shortage but I do think that the doctors will be ones who are truly in it for helping people. The doctors are probably going to be getting less money and that will no longer be a drive to become a doctor only the want to help. I have sometimes had doctors who are obviously wanting you out of their face so they can go on their cruise or cabin in the Alps and it is never the doctors working for less in the clinics for the low income. I know there is more to it but that is the only good that I can see of it. I will remind you again that I think Obamacare sucks.

I thought theres already a shortage of doctors(takes 2 hours just to get a doctor to put in 1-3 stitches on a finger which only takes about 5min).....plus "obamacare" deals more with the Insurance side of things not the doctor side of things
