Obamacare Ruled Constitutional By The Supreme Court... And May Have Just Given Mitt Romney Victory In 2012.

How can I say that the Supreme Court ruling may have given Mitt Romney the White House?

Obama stated over and over and over that this was not a tax yet the Supreme Court threw out two out of three arguments to preserve Obamacare accepting the third argument because if the legislation is considered to be a federal tax, then it's legal.

The estimate of uninsured Americans could in fact be much higher and the number of people claimed to be covered could be significantly lower than 30 million. Why< it's not just the illegals and people who refuse to pay. This law offers a supplimentation which should help the Middle Class to a degree. However, this means you still have to pay your part and the problem there is that many can't afford to pay a dime on purchasing insurance... if they can't afford to pay their part because the economy forces them to use every dime they possess to keep food on the table and the lights on... they're going to be penalized up to $12,500.00.

Now here's the laughable part...

In other words, they can penalize you $695.00 per adult or 2.5% of the family income up to $12,500.00. But they can only enforce this by penalizing you on any expected income tax refund you are expecting... no refund because you have to pay in, then they can't make you pay a dime. A suppliment is a partial payment and a partial payment requires you to pay the other part... if you can't pay your part, then you pay the consequences.

What this effectively does is give Obama a hollow, almost laughable victory.

He has now been proven a liar in regard to Obamacare and taxes as he had to claim implementation of the mandate would be like a federal tax.

Republicans will now use this issue to inflame their support base and because 29 million people will still not be covered and millions of the 30 million who will be covered may not be given enough subsidies to cover the full amount because they can't pay the amount the government says they have to pay. So Republicans now have a good scare tactic.

This "victory" only confirms what the Republicans have been saying is true and while Obama supporters crow over the verdict, they are not looking at the big picture... and the big picture is that we are still in a recession and to implement the mandate on Obamacare, he'll have to use the IRS as the only way to try forcing people to buy insurance.

And millions of Democrats are not going to like discovering that just because they couldn't pay their share of the cost they now must pay... they lose the tax refunds and benefits they otherwise would have received.

Once again, the left is claiming victory when what they may have been given is defeat in the upcoming elections.
