ObamaCare must be STOPPED!

Welshtaff 2012/02/14 02:29:28
Patients and physicians agree: ObamaCare must be STOPPED!
www.aapsonline.org
Today, AAPS filed our 3rd brief this year with the Court to make sure the justices understand that doctors oppose this UNCONSTITUTIONAL law. ObamaCare undermines in fundamental and dangerous ways, the practice of medicine, and harms patients.

I hear so much about costs and Doctor shortage if we keep Obama Care...

Why would there be a doctor shortage? There are over 105K family practices in this country... If everyone got health care that would be on average 400 more patients per doctor (give or take)... Some Doctors are busy and some need more patients as is anyway. A practice should be able to absorb the influx as a normal practice has somewhere up to 2500 (on average) patients. How many times a year do most people go to their PC? 3.19 times a year (According to AAFP, American Academy of Family Physicians).. So if a practice sees 2500 patients at 3.19 times per year that's about 8000 visits or 26 per day... 3 per hour... Now add worst case numbers of 500 more patients or an extra 1600 visits year or 5.3 per day... or less than 1 person per hour... the influx to the offices will also have another impact. Those offices will have to hire at least 1 more person to handle the influx, so right away that creates over 100K jobs..

There are also other remedies to strengthen the numbers of Doctors certain areas. Give them credit with their Student Loans to practice in less desirable areas for a determined amount of time. After they establish chances are they will stay or sell to another New Doctor hoping to get breaks on lo...

Now one of the dumbest things I've heard is...They will shut down their business and quit... Why would any of them close their office? What will they do, work at McDonald's? Do you really think they'd shut their offices because it just got busier? All those loans and all that training to work at McDonald's... Really? maybe they would if they mismanage everything but even those Doctors have options and they could go to work for a company and let them worry about the books...

The fact is adding that 40 million to the the rolls of insurance will save $100's of billions... Here's why. Doctors are already seeing those 40 million people. However without insurance they just see them when their conditions are usually far worse than if they had insurance and could get preventive care... For Example, if a person doesn't have insurance they won't go to the Doctor when symptoms first appear and that early visit may catch the problem and fix it before they go to the Hospital with a more serious problem and by the time the hospital treats them a cold that would have cost $100 to knock down now costs $50k because it turned to pneumonia...

So with Hospitals seeing less patients as preventive care that keeps them out of the Hospital, your wait time will decrease when you have a serious problem. Would you be against that?

The 40 million are already being seen just this way it will cost less...

Oh and one more thing... If you ever lose your insurance and become one of those 40 million you will be so thankful for the New Health Care Law... My bet though is that after you have spent several years crying about the law and are saved by the new law you will be right back screaming and crying how the law sucks...

I was surprised that a revolution did not begin the day after it was signed. Worse than that, not one darn thing happened. We can sit here and blog and whine all day about this and so much other, but NEVER do we see any real Action. Hell, it's all "illegal" now, we're screwed.

This is crazy and evil. ANYONE who wants "Obamacare" stopped without fixing or replacing it, just plain wants thousands of Americans per year to die for lack of healthcare. I oppose thousands of Americans dying per year for lack of healthcare.

When the ACA passed the Republicans were asked what their plan was to keep health insurance companies from denying care, capping benefits, and cherry picking only healthy people for their rolls. Boehner said, "We're going to have a meeting about that".
I have heard nothing since except "Repeal Obamacare". Where is the plan, John Boehner? During the debates over 1000 health insurance companies lobbyists spent one million dollars daily to kill the ACA bill. Who got that money, John Boehner and company? What is anyone doing about greedy health insurance companies, hospitals, and doctors increasing the cost of our health care daily while enjoying obscene profits compared to other countries? Why should 50 million people be left uninsured when you and I are insured?

They set the example that everyone should follow.

look at the success they have in Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Ireland.

Happiness, health, solvency of their Governments.

It is working so good, that they are headed for anarchy.

Yet the country with the most compatible political system to the USA has 99% of its citizens covered with Health Insurance and pensions and economically is doing the best from all in Europe and is in a economic position allowing to vote comfortably for the second Greek bailout, namely Germany.Strange USA Cons seem to hack about the Euro losers, but are reluctant to acknowledge and report about the success of the German Cons. But maybe the strong economic growth due to exporting isn't very helpful for those needing Germany to Import more.Capitalism isn't always fair.Someones got to lose so that others win.But whatever, typical Conservatism, always a big mouth about the losers, but keeps quite about the winners(unless its them of course!)even if that's credited to fellow Conservatives abroad.

The reason Germany is a success is because of the fiscal conservancy. The Healthcare is one of the only programs that requires tremendous funding. Their equivaent to our SSI, is fully funded. The pay packages they give to their public servants are far more in line with reality.

They have the most advance industrial base over there, so they have a competitive advantage. It is very much like TX, compared to LA, NM, MS. It use to be the same for CA, but over rewarding the unions has driven the state to the edge of BK.

If the National Health Care Act stays as is there is going to be a doctor shortage in this country likes nobody could imagine. They will end up importing doctors from all over the world as American doctors simply start closing their practices or making them a cash for service only. The bureaucratic regulatory paper load associated with medical service today is over burdening. A system controlled by the government will add more paper and make a doctors business practice to unprofitable to continue.

Not enough to cover the need. The point is many American doctors are refusing to work under the conditions that will be set by the National Health Laws and mandates. Get ready for rationed health care. Those that can afford it will just go off shore like Canadians that come here now.
