Really? Only one person could have done something? There is/was nobody else? We are in sad shape. I wish Paul would have been nominated and gone on to win. But even if he had, he would have been limited in what he could have done. Congress makes the laws and the president signs them and executes them, more or less. Ron Paul is one of a small handful of elected officials that has avoided being corrupted after rising to the national level in politics. He isn't the only one and nobody is looking very hard at the process that corrupts individuals who enter elective office at the local level to reduce government and rise up onto the national scene as they become corrupted.

The only reason that Obama is even President is that a horde of lawyers was sent to the office where names are submitted to get someone on the ballot. And these lawyers terrorized the office over every other candidates names that were submitted. This allowed Obama to run unopposed in his first election. Had it not been for brutal tactics like that we wouldn't know who Obama was.
