I didnt think the Obama administration would say anything about this terrible ad. In fact, I think they truly love it.
Lets just hope that the Romney superpac doesnt go down the same path. It would be better if they would point out the holes and lies in the Obama superpac's ads.

In apologizing for the ad, it lends others the right to claim that they had something to do in the creation of that ad. That's not the case.

Why don't they go after the PAC that created the ad and ask for comment?

I disagree. If someone puts an add out to destroy your opponent and you know it is false, the decent thing to do would at the very least would be to say you want to distance yourself from this distortion. Think about it on a personal level. Would you say you stand up for truth if someone posted lies about your wife on the internet or sit silent? Obama needs to stop hiding behind PAC as he lets others do his dirty work.

Obama didn't even make the crass remark that Romney did, but his campaign staff see no need to make any remark at all on the ad, which IS distancing themselves from the ad in all way, shape, and form.
