"Defunding" is simply a way to keep our tax money and not give us the benefits from the taxes they have already taken from us. If they want to repeal the law then repeal the law and give us our tax money back. However, do not keep the money and then not give us the benefits. Has anyone noticed that the same scumbags who vote to cut our healthcare benefits 37 times have never managed to find the time to "defund" there own healthcare. These people are sleaze on steroids.

as soon as possible, defund other agencies as well and resize gonernment for the people, by the people. reduce their salaries too, the seldom work long enough to earn even half of their pay. 6 year terms the max for any so called lawmaker, they always exempt themselves from what they force uopon the citixentry anyway and put them in Social security.

ObamaCare was a REPUBLICAN cancer to start with! Just like NAFTA. Both got developed under a GOP cabal and signed into law by a Democrat puppet.

Here's what we SHOULD have! Based on a well-established program, which was created for the public good. Not for insurance companies.

    medicare for all

Defunding Obamacare would be an early Christmas present. What makes us think the government can provide healthcare to millions of Americans when the Veterans Administration can't provide healthcare to veterans? With waiting periods in excess of 270 days, these veterans are dying while waiting. We must get rid of Obamacare in any way possible. Personally, I will never be a part of Obamacare unless I am forced to participate. I don't want the government having access to my medical and financial information because they have become immersed in evil people (the union employees who work for the government). Just looking at the idiots trying to line dance makes me want to puke...these are the people in charge of the IRS??? Scary indeed.

Obamacare does not provide "care" per se. It mainly makes private insurance affordable to those who currently can not afford it. The care will be provided by private providers, that you choose. The insurance company will be private companies. You will be given a list of companies and their rate quotes to pick from. if you income is less than 400% of the federal poverty level you will get tax credits to help you pay for your policy. If you currently have employer provided insurance you can keep that insurance.

That all sounds well and good, but the ineffectiveness of the government-led programs are too many to list. Call me a skeptic or any name you want, I don't believe in our President or anything he says of does and all that stuff you listed above may be true, but let's get back to that in a year or two after this really goes into effect and compare what was/is promised to what actually exists in the reality of the implementation of Obamacare.

Congress needs to defund, repeal, Impeach, etc, etc. immediately, before he does more harm to our country.

If you watch the panic before the law is implemented you know that it will probably be beneficial to many Americans. If it was as bad as some suggested they would let it go into effect and then everyone would demand its repeal.

Its going to happen they don't have support they didn't appropriate enough money from beginning because they had to use abstract methods to bypass house(they decide where money goes it republican ran). By using funding from already funded sources such as medicare so instead of healthcare we used hundreds of millions of medicare on setting up bureaucrat stuff instead of healthcare.

But as long as states refuse to setup exchange or refuse to ask federal government too(it was interesting play tell states to set one up or have states give feds ok to use money that only states could appropriate.)

But the best part is house is controlled by GOP so if they need extra funds it will fall short. So no funding will be released by house who has tried to repeal it dozens of times. But add the fact that senate is wavering on support due to a lot of funding is for IRS which is in a bad light and untrusted due to political targeting AND reckless spending. Also overspending is still a huge problem I mean the national debt has more than doubled since Obama took office. Making any new and extra spending unpopular.

After what I read last night, Ø might not get what he wants:

"… some Republicans hope to starve it(Obamacare) by refusing to fund its implementation."

"The IRS scandals are giving them a timely excuse."

"I think it's safe to say they're not going to get the kind of increase they're asking for," said Rep. Ander Crenshaw, R-Fla., chairman of the House appropriations subcommittee that funds the IRS."

Yes, ye4s, yes....It's been know that it was going to cost more than predicted, Obama has already admitted that the low wage workers won't be able to get it, and not loo long ago there were a lot more pages they said needed to be added to it! The program is too expensive, doesn't cover the poor or low income who he said it would and it's already got more expenses built into the program over the next few years! Defund it and let it die!!

RomneyCare is not working as well as expected. But remember Mass is a very wealthy state.
The system is not without its flaws. Premiums remain high in Massachusetts. In fact the state has the highest individual market premiums in the country, according to the non-partisan Kaiser Foundation. Currently, per capita health care spending in the state is expected to nearly double between now and 2020- from between $10,000 and $12,000 (the current cost) to $17,872- if there is no intervention, according to figures provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield Massachusetts.
