Barack Obama seems to be having a hard time defining his presidency. Today, he firmly declared that under no circumstance would he use a Nuke as our President.
What if North Korea, China, or Iran threatened to do something that absolutely required a nuclear response to prevent our destruction? That is one reason that we have them.
The other reason we have nuclear bombs are their deterrent effect. Telling the world that we would not use them under any circumstance makes them useless as a deterrent and seriously undermines our ability to negotiate with the bad guys.
Hmmm…. Two days ago Obama was threatening to invade Pakistan against their will to kill terrorists, and accused Bush of not being tough enough in defending our country.
The day before that, he was still on the “bring our troops home now wagon”, and agreeing with those that had declared that we, the most powerful country in the world could not defeat a third rate bunch of thugs.
What is going on?

I want a president that says, "I will defend this country no matter what it takes"
what's a nuke anyway?
or you might just run into a problem that you cant fix, because you
wont do the one thing that will fix it. He is willing to risk upheaval
in Pakistan to go after Bin Laden, and possibly give nukes to radical
islam, but he wont use a nuke to stop them from gaining and using one?
Better sit down and think this one through with a military stragitist
