Obama states today in his speech that "The Private Sector jobs are doing fine"?!?!?! Is he totally out of touch with reality?

Now I get ya, Equality of opportunity + equality of outcome = Socialism. Either way the government cannot legislate equality of anything, especially when there are the Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons of the world.

Well, if you try to legislate equality of outcome, you have to remove equality of opportunity. On a level playing field I cannot out swim Michael Phelps. To get equality of outcome we would have to tie an anchor to Mr. Phelps meaning that the opportunity would no longer be equal. To achieve the equal outcome we had to handicap someone.

Kurt Vonnegut wrote an excellent short story called "Harrison Bergeron" satirizing this.

About those 4.3 million jobs that he and Biden supposedly created: Those are really 4.3 million "payroll contract assignments" - the government's been doing this decades.

If you have a contract for a month's-worth-of-work for ten (10) people, then Obama and Biden are gonna say they created ten (10) jobs. They try to make it sound like they created ten (10) permanent full-time jobs with benefits and a high rate of pay, when really those jobs could be temporary, part-time jobs, with low pay and no benefits, like the U.S. Census work.

I worked for the U.S. Census Bureau for almost 4 months, and that was more than most people. Yet Obama and Biden count my almost-4-months as a job they created.

Let's remember: This is a man who streamlined all of the girlfriends from his youth into one fictitious conglomeration for his biography. By the way: Who writes THEIR OWN biography before senior status (age)? ... A NARCISSIST! That's Who!

I don't know about the entire economy but it has been reported by many sources that it would take 500,000 people getting jobs each and every month for the next five years to get back to the 5% unemployment rate that existed the DAY before the Democrats took over the COngress in January of 2007..

If you look at it in context, he's not actually wrong. The US economy is growing slowly largely due to government austerity- clearly the answer is increased, rather than decreased, government spending.
