President Obama hosted a North American summit with Canadian Prime Minister Harper and Mexican President Felipe Calderon today at the White House.

During this summit, the President commented on the recent Supreme Court hearings on his signature healthcare law.

Obama remains 'confident' that the law will be upheld and felt he had to remind 'conservative commentators' that for four years they complained of 'judicial activism' and that an 'unelected group of people' would overturn a 'duly constituted and passed law' , a scenario he compared his healthcare fight to.

PRESIDENT OBAMA:

"There is not only an economic element to this, a legal element to this, but there is a human element to this. And I hope that's not forgotten in this political debate

Ultimately, I'm confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected congress.

And I would like to remind conservative commentators that for years what we have heard is that the biggest problem is judicial activism and that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law.

Well, this is a good example and I’m pretty confident this court will recognize that and not take that step”

For a supposed Constitutional scholar, he doesn't seem to comprehend the Constitution. Then again he thinks its outdated and need to be brought into the 21 century without the freedoms we now enjoy

He may have screwed up.

He insulted the SCOTUS at the state of the union a while back. Now, he's basically daring them to overturn his law. If someone is sitting on the fence, that might provide the little push they need to overturn it.

I hope they don't need that push. I hope they overturn it on the merits.

Removing the President is not going to solve all the problem. We need to remove Congress as well. We need a fresh start! I am hoping that we get a lot of new people that can think in Congress next year.

That is what we need to do. We should have done it during the Bush administration. We needed to remove them all back then and never let one of them hold office again. That would have eliminated the Marxist we have now. The is why they have passed the Patriot Act and NDAA as they are afraid that we will do what we should have done years ago.

Sounds to me like one or both of those plants may have whispered secrets to him ahead of time. 0vomit is a chicken-s*&! coward who knows he is a usurper, knows he is a lying to American citizens, and knows he is wrong on all levels. The man MUST be taken out of office over his illegitimacy. This simply cannot be allowed to stand or continue.

Obama is working for the Vatican, there are 6 Catholics and 3 Jews sitting on the Supreme Court. I believe why he is so confident is that he already knows what the outcome will be. The healthcare was illegal to start with and our Congress was in on getting it passed . So once it was made law they know it would be hard to nullify it.

They will keep the healthcare in place, it is part of the Papacy's agenda for a world healthcare system. People should know too that it is the Papacy that is out pushing for the 10 World Unions and the One World Order.

Both the Canadian Prime Minister and Mexican President might want to explain why those from their countries, who can afford to do so, come across the border to the US for medical care. A Canadian friend chose to use savings for diagnostic testing deemed necessary by her doctor, but she would have to wait 5 months for her appointment for the tests. Got them done in 3 weeks in the US and is back in Canada receiving treatments.

I have relatives in Canada who suffer with the pathetic system they've thrust on the people of Canada. My father in-law has gone through a beauracratic nightmare to get a possible cancer diagnosis completed. His doctor orders tests and a beauracratic gate keeper just denies the tests.
