Politics: it's not a game, exactly. But there are rules, and when you break them you are running….Politically Foul!

You know George Romney. You also know his son Mitt. Both were governors. Both wanted to be president. But only one is on the ticket this year. For President Obama, that can be a hard fact to remember.

While addressing a crowd at a New York fundraiser, Obama said, "Not going back to a set of policies that say you're on your own. And that's essentially the theory of the other side. George Romney -- wrong guy. Governor Romney."

So close Mr. President, you were just one generation off. Next time, check the roster.

Considering George Romney is not actually running for president this year.

But if he did, I bet he could get 57 states. *snerk*

I think George Romney would make a much better president than 0vomit. Since he hasn't been alive since 1995, he would still be better for this nation than the usurper-in-chief.
You know 0vomit is losing it big time when he deliberately or even unknowingly gets this wrong. Did he forget to pay attention to his Teleprompter? Maybe he can blame his campaign managers for rigging the machine so it read George instead of Mitt. After all, NOTHING IS EVER HIS FAULT!

What an Idiot!!!! No doubt he was thinking George Bush, and Mit Romney have somehow morphed into the same person. I sincerely doubt that he actually knows that Mit Romney's fathers name is George.

Well, come to think on it, though....

Considering what the last several presidents have done, digging up a corpse and putting it in the Oval Office as chief of state doesn't seem like such an outrageous idea, does it?

Hell, yeah. If we can't have Ron Paul - who can fix this friggin' mess - let's have GEORGE Romney instead of either the Etch-a-Sketch or the Mombasa Messiah as President.

He is likely to be a little old isn't he?

History is littered with political bloopers, some funny and some --- not so much.

Eg Reagan not knowing where Nicaragua was a little concerning when the contra rebel arms for drugs scandal was breaking over the head of Col. Oliver North...

And well let's face it Dubbya.... need I say any more?

"He is likely to be a little old isn't he?"

Yeah, but he's SEASONED, he's RESTED, he's prepared to do the "pocket veto" thing.

Heck, don't the undertakers usually just sew all the pockets closed?

I guess he met George in one of the 57 states he visited in 2008. I thought he was suppose to be the smartest president we've ever had. I guess he didn't have his teleprompter.

Actually I do know who George Romney is.

So Obama misspoke - he corrected himself. Everyone does that at one time or another. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to dislike Obama. Misspeaking is not one of them. I remember how stupid I thought it was when liberals would jump on Bush anytime he misspoke. I refuse to do the same to Obama and be a hypocrite.
