Tom Hanks, rich liberal Hollywood actor, producer and director, produced an Obama Propaganda film. In it they claim that the GM bailout has been paid back. But, even Liberal Progressive Left Raw Story points out the lies it contains.
Raw Story:
The Obama 2012 campaign has released a short film called “The Road
We’ve Traveled,” detailing the challenges faced by President Barack
Obama’s administration from day one through the start of the campaign.
But it’s not all roses for team Obama: part of the film contains a
gross inaccuracy. Specifically, it claims that General Motors (GM) has
fully repaid its federal bailout loan. It has not — meaning the
documentary contains a $25 billion error.
Of the nearly $50 billion given to GM, just under half has been repaid to the government. Officials still argue the auto bailouts were a good investment due to the hundreds of thousands of jobs saved by that decision, and it is accurate to say that GM has returned to record profits — as have all the other major American automakers.

Here's STOOOPID!!!!
They are SUCH liars.
I have no respect for Government Motors and will never buy one again in my lifetime.
And now this about their Chevy Volt using more of out tax dollars.

But as to the larger question about this film: here is what it reminds me of.

The Congressional Budget Office projected in 2009 that taxpayers would lose $40 billion on the auto bailouts. The CBO eventually lowered its estimate to $19 billion lost, which is progress but nothing to crow about.

But while the automakers are all posting strong results, taxpayers are still on the hook for billions of dollars. Taxpayers fell $1.3 billion short on the Chrysler bailout and are still waiting for $25.5 billion back on the GM deal. In total, the companies received about $60 billion between them.
And, particularly in the case of GM (GM, Fortune 500), it seems unlikely the taxpayer will be made whole anytime soon. Treasury holds 500 million shares of GM stock, those represent about one third of the company and if sold at today's prices, they would be worth about $13 billion.
The second article is the main one 25.5 billion minus the stocks we own valued at 13 billion equals 12.5 billion..
Raw lies..

I think you do also, when did Raw become a "Liberal Progressive Left" media?
I prefer facts not opinions.

15 Questions The Mainstream Media Would Ask Barack Obama If He Were A Republican: [#3] Unions invested a lot of time and money in helping to get you elected. In return, they gained majority control of Chrysler, the taxpayers lost 14 billion dollars on General Motors, and General Motors received a special 45 billion dollar tax break. What do you say to people who view this as corruption on a scale never before seen in American history?
This "film" suggests that the president's health care law has stunted a trend of rising costs that have been "crushing family budgets and choking business,"
Obama promised his health care plan would save families $2500.00 each year in health care premiums during his 2008 campaign.
Have your insurance premiums gone down or have they "necessarily skyrocketed"?
Has your employer switched you to a lower plan yet?
Everyone that I know has had one of the two.
