    Muslim democracy? Iran is getting to be a superpower in the Middle East by funding much of these rebellions. From what I am seeing concerning news reports on Egypt, the muslim brotherhood is rising in power, and Obama is fine with that. Also, Egypt has now let down the barriers on the Palestine border allowing weapons and aide to pour through to the Palestines.

    As for Lybia, the extremists were kept at bay there as well. In fact, Quadfi in recent years cooperated with US on reporting terrorists conncections and extremists in his area. I still do not know just who it is our military is over there arming and training. I do know that the region where this so called democratic movement took place is the well known area of the brotherhood and radical fundamentalists who traveled across the border to attack our troops in Iraq. So how do we tell them apart, or what their motives are?

    It seems in the countries we are taking action in, that we are losing allies on the war on terror and fundamentalists are stepping up in power. We did not care to intervene when it came to the deminstrations in Iran and people were getting killed there. And there we diffinitely knew people were marching for freedom. We are not intervening in Syria where there is a whole lot more aggressive dictatorship and oppression. People are dying in the streets and raids are being conducted, but no condemation from the White House. Strange.

    But heck, lets support the muslims so they can continue to attack us.

    Bottom line...I do not believe that any Muslim Nation deserves help from the U.S. or anyone else for that matter. When I see a Christian church flourishing in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt (where the Coptics are being attacked).. etc....wipe out Sharia...and treat their woman like human beings with the same rights as the men,... and,.... I have disposable income in our coffers after we have taken care of our own house FIRST, paid all of our debt, built new bridges, taken care of our military and wounded warriers...on and on.....a big maybe........Some how I just do not believe that any Muslim wants a true Democracy....Their leaders ( Kings) have kept them under the yoke......and instead of an education in Science, Engineering, tolerance, etc.... for both men and woman , they are taught hatred. . I always said, that instead of us going to Afghanistan 9 years ago.....the problem could have been solved by arming those abused and beaten women in burkas with Uzis and turned them on the men.........There is a reason that the men do not want the women educated.........just think about it

    9% unemployment is not the real unemployment. It is just the fake and skewed number the white house releases.

    The real unemployment is more likely around 22% or so now.

    Even at "best-case" (with close-to-zero unemployment and huge surplus budgets), that would be tossing money down a sinkhole--Muslim nations west of Shakargarh (all the way to the Atlantic) are not capable of democracy, and this has been proven multiple times since 1951/10/16.

    Obama is supposed to seek approval from congress and the American people not the U.N. . The U.N. is worthless and I hope the U.S. drops out and quits help funding them. The U.N. was going to allow Syria to head the Human Rights Council while they shoot hundreds of protesters on the streets. What a joke.
