Via RCP, President Obama made a stop during his campaign tour of Ohio on Friday to speak with a local television station. When asked what he would say to a constituent who may be disappointed with President Obama’s promise that he was going to reach across the aisle to get things done and who may be on the fence about November’s election, the president replied:

“I suspect that most people in Cincinnati would acknowledge that I’ve tried real hard, and we just haven’t gotten the kind of willingness on the part of the Republicans to engage on a whole range of issues that, I wish had happened, and, part of what I think needs to happen in this election is the voters once again have to send a message, ‘We want common sense ideas. We don’t folks who are just saying no to everything.’ Even stuff, traditionally [they] were in favor of. …”

He has tried real hard......... breaking all presidential records in golfing, spending the most money, taking the most vacations, spending more presidential time campaigning instead of getting important things done, taking more of our freedoms away through regulations, giving the most money away to other nations, losing the most jobs ever.... in the private sector, giving tons of money to his friends, punishing his so called enemies, demolishing our military etc., etc., yep he sure has been busy and trying real hard, but doing ALL THE WRONG THINGS!

He "tried real hard"? Yeah, I think he probably did. And failed. Monumentally.

"Tried real hard" is the perennial excuse of the failing crybaby. "I should get some partial credit! I suck, and I don't know what the hell I'm doing, and I'm a laughable clown, but my heart's in the right place!"

This country was built and shaped by winners, not by well-meaning failures.

There has never been, in my lifetime, a Congress that has been so obstructive. President Obama has tried time and again to address issues such as jobs and immigration but the Reps just block everything! )-:

Oh, he's tried real hard to do as much damage to this nation in as short a period as possible. Unfortunately he's succeeded in so many ways. We are a much more divided and weakened people now than we were just four years ago. Give him four more and we will be a failed state.

How soon he forgets that his own Senate Majority Leader won’t even introduce for discussion a slew of economic bills passed by the House, let alone bringing them to a vote.
