Obama misquotes Harry Truman in false attack on Mitt Romney!
The White House Dossier
THIS FROM THE MAN WHO BLAMES GEORGE W. BUSH FOR THE ECONOMY EVEN
AFTER BUSH HAS BEEN LIVING IN DALLAS DOING NOTHING FOR THREE AND A HALF
Obama was using the Truman quote to suggest that Mitt
Romney is responsible for what went on at Bain Capital, even if he was
CEO in name only and not involved in operations.
From the pool report filed from southern Virginia, where Obama is campaigning instead of working:
Barack Obama tells ABC7′s Scott Thuman that GOP challenger Mitt Romney
should answer questions about Bain Capital and his time there. Here’s a
transcript of the interview.
SCOTT THUMAN: What about Bain
Capital? It’s a big issue for the past 24 hours right now. Mitt Romney’s
campaign says he left in ’99, yours says it’s 2000, there’s a
significant difference, is he being dishonest with the American public?
BARACK OBAMA: Well, here’s what I know, we were just talking about
responsibility and as president of the United States, it’s pretty clear
to me that I’m responsible for folks who are working in the federal
government and you know, Harry Truman said the buck stops with you
my understanding is the Mr. Romney attested to the FCC, multiple times,
that he was the chairman, CEO and president of Bain Capital and I think
most Americans figure if you are the chairman, CEO and president of a
company that you are responsible for what that company does.
Mr. Romney, I think, is going to have to answer those questions, uh
because if he aspires to being president one of the things you learn is,
you are ultimately responsible for the conduct of your operations, but
again that’s probably a question that he’s going to have to answer and I
think that’s a legitimate part of the campaign.
SCOTT THUMAN: And you think he should answer that soon?
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: Yeah, absolutely.
I think I’ll chase this thing with a beer.

Comment: The man Obama quoted, Harry S. Truman, had one thing our current president is sorely lacking, integrity!
Obama's Alinsky training as a community agitator comes to the forefront
at moments like this, when the primary rule, "the ends justify the
means," leads Obama to lie like a dog! And it is like a dog with a bone
in its teeth that he refuses to let go of, the allegation that Mitt
Romney as CEO of Bain Capital "shipped jobs overseas", a claim that has
been proven to be an abject lie by the mainstream media and factcheck.org.
For example, this is what factcheck.org has on its website about the claim that Romney shipped jobs overseas: "New reporting cites strong evidence that Mitt Romney wasn’t actively
managing Bain Capital while he was running the Olympics, despite what
the Obama campaign (and some news reports) would have voters believe."
fact is that Mitt Romney took a leave of absence from Bain Capital in
1999, while volunteering to organize the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt
Lake City, Utah. Only a man with no experience in the private sector
and little experience as an administrator of any kind, i.e. Barack
Obama, would believe that a manager could handle both Bain Capital and
the re-organization of a faltering Olympic Games at the same time.
misquoting Harry Truman as saying "The buck stops with you," the famous
plaque on Truman's desk said "The buck stops here," meaning that he
accepted responsibility for whatever happened on his watch, a concept
with which our current president has no familiarity.
