President Obama met with a litany of liberal media personalities on Tuesday to push his tax cut message.
Spotted filing into the West Wing on Tuesday were Arianna Huffington of the Huffington Post and MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell, Ed Schultz and Al Sharpton.
The meeting was not on the president’s public schedule and White House officials initially declined to comment on the meeting. They later issued a statement to POLITICO:
“This afternoon at the White House, the President met with influential progressives to talk about the importance of preventing a tax increase on middle class families, strengthening our economy and adopting a balanced approach to deficit reduction,” spokesman Josh Earnest said.

I said this before. I watch MSNBC and Fox at the same time.
And laugh at how people can watch Fox and nothing else.
Besides, I see no problem with Obama explaining plans to MSNBC. Who else better to tell political information to than to the people who do support you. Clearly they will do their best to give it out the best they can. (And 9 times out of ten we will probably be able to research the evidence, unlike most of Fox)
Remember, they think President Obama is too far right...lol
Using it in this context suggests you are incapable of original thought....an accusation that liberal posters often hurl at conservatives. It is a shame to see you prove the liberals correct.
The fact that Fox News takes individual anecdotes out of context and tries to make them into issues is representative of the problem; America simply does not have conservative leadership which is capable of understanding the big picture and the long term consequences of its behavior. As a result, the conservatives who should be dominating politics as Americans age are losing the war.
