Yeah, auto bailout worked great, didn't it? Investors lost out, non-union workers lost out, the taxpayers are on the dole for billions that will never be paid back, the bailed out auto companies are down in their sales BUT the "union cronies" of Obumbler did great - made millions!! What a crock! No more freakin' bailouts for anybody!! IMHO

Cash out your IRA's and 401k's while you can. Take the hit on the penalty. Where do you think he is going to get money for any bailouts. Retirements is where.

This is why a "successful" bailout is even more dangerous than a failed bailout! If a bank robber successfully robs a bank, you wouldn't call that a success! Same deal here!

A $35 billion dollar loss on a company that transfers production to China is a success?
A company that pays no taxes is a success ?
A defective product that the government cannot pay people to buy is a success ?
Third world thinking in all it's glory .

Even a blind hog finds an acorn now and then. What about Solyndra ? Lets discuss the drop in sales of American auto firms now that Japan is roaring back from it's disaster. He's got about as much business sense as he does about rocket science !

Government should not be in the business of picking winners and losers. The marketplace is a far better regulator than the government. Inefficient businesses should be allowed fail and efficient firms, rewarded with success.

General Motors failed because it has ignored the competition for more than a half-century. The bail-out rewarded their poor management. The government now has them building a whole new line of cars that no one wants.

It is the corporation's job to run itself in an efficient manner to provide income for the investors and stable employment of its resources.

Labeling the GM bailout a success is an insult to the intelligence of every American taxpayer.

Go figure, another milestone for this administration and useful idiots. It is insanity when perceived reasonable, sane people continue supporting and funding the fundamental transformation of the greatest county on earth into a Nationalist Socialist State. The data is there folks, for God’s sake read it! 8+ percent unemployment, 16 trillion in debt, a Dream Act by fiat, and 1/3rd of the population on some form of welfare. No Federal budget in three years, Guantanamo turned into a Sandals resort for terrorists, nationwide financial uncertainty, small business hiring malaise, government overreach, the demonization of Christianity, ‘Obamahood’ (robbing from the taxpayers to pay off the AFL/CIO bosses), shall I go on? Wood-headed liberals having orgasms over the real possibility this turd-infested administration could be reelected, IS the motivation for rational people (before it is too late) to read the Constitution; pay special attention to the second Amendment.

What did obama do?? He panicked and borrowed obscene amounts of money, called it stimulus funds and then sent it overseas to build mosques and help global businesses while American families were being dispossessed from their homes and relieved of their jobs!!

No more Solyndra's! No more Government Motors! Go away and let Romney try his hand!

I fail to see where the auto industry has been successful and If I'm not mistaken most of them really aren't doing that great plus our dearly beloved president bailed out most of the car industry, but we have to figure this is obama's way of thinking and really need to overlook his stupidity and ignorance because that's all he has going for him.

We cannot afford that kind of "help" for every business.

GM has some $40 billion in tax loss carry forward credits. Meaning they will avoid paying any income taxes until they consume the balance.
Additionally, GM still owes the American taxpayer some $25 billion and its finance arm Ally owes around $12 billion.

So the "success" story of Government Motors is a hole in the Treasury of about $77 billion.
I guess businesses would enjoy having the handouts, but the One has been busy demonizing every other business, so that's a big no-sale among his envious, childlike voters.
