Obama is victim of Bush's failed promises
Barack Obama is setting a record-setting number of records during his first year in office.
Largest budget ever. Largest deficit ever. Largest number of broken promises ever. Most self-serving speeches ever. Largest number of agenda-setting failures ever. Fastest dive in popularity ever.
Wow! Talk about change.
Just one year ago. fresh from his inauguration celebrations. President Obama was flying high. After one of the nation's most inspiring political campaigns, the election of America's first black president had captured the hopes and dreams of millions. To his devout followers, it was inconceivable that a year later his administration would be gripped in self-imposed crisis.
Of course, they don't see it as self-imposed. It's all George Bush's fault.
George Bush, who doesn't have a vote in congress and who no longer occupies the White House, is to blame for it all.
He broke Obama's promise to put all bills on the White House web site for five days before signing them.
He broke Obama's promise to have the congressional health care negotiations broadcast live on C-SPAN.
He broke Obama's promise to end earmarks.
He broke Obama's promise to keep unemployment from rising above 8 percent.
He broke Obama's promise to close the detention center at Guantanamo in the first year.
He broke Obama's promise to make peace with direct, no precondition talks with America's most hate-filled enemies during his first year in office, ushering in a new era of global cooperation.
He broke Obama's promise to end the hiring of former lobbyists into high White House jobs.
He broke Obama's promise to end no-compete contracts with the government.
He broke Obama's promise to disclose the names of all attendees at closed White House meetings.
He broke Obama's promise for a new era of bipartisan cooperation in all matters.
He broke Obama's promise to have chosen a home church to attend Sunday services with his family by Easter of last year.
Yes. it's all George Bush's fault. President Obama is nothing more than a puppet in the never-ending. failed Bush administration.
If only George Bush wasn't still in charge, all of President Obama's problems would be solved. His promises would have been kept, the economy would be back on track, Iran would have stopped its work on developing a nuclear bomb and would be negotiating a peace treaty with Israel. North Korea would have ended its tyrannical regime, and integrity would have been restored to the federal government.
Oh, and did I mention what it would be like if the Democrats. under the leadership of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, didn't have the heavy yoke of George Bush around their necks? There would be no ear marks, no closed-door drafting of bills, no increase in deficit spending, no special-interest influence (unions), no vote buying (Nebraska, Louisiana).
If only George Bush wasn't still in charge, we'd have real change by now.
All the broken promises, all the failed legislation and delay (health care reform, immigration reform) is not President Obama's fault or the fault of the Democrat-controlled Congress. It's all George Bush's fault.
Take for example the decision of Eric Holder, the president's attorney general, to hold terrorists' trials in New York City. Or his decision to try the Christmas Day underpants bomber as a civilian.
Two disastrous decisions.
Certainly those were bad judgments based on poor advice from George Bush.
Need more proof?
You might recall that when Scott Brown won last month's election to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts, capturing "the Ted Kennedy seat," President Obama said that Brown's victory was the result of the same voter anger that propelled Obama into office in 2008. People were still angry about George Bush and the policies of the past 10 years. and they wanted change.
Yes, according to the president, the voter rebellion in Massachusetts last month was George Bush's fault.
Therefore, in retaliation, they elected a Republican to the Ted Kennedy seat, ending a half-century of domination by Democrats.
It is all George Bush's fault.
Will the failed administration of George Bush ever end, and the time for hope and change ever arrive?
Will President Obama ever accept responsibility for something... – anything?

Sure, "blame" the wars on Bush, he started them, but the Clinton Administration's policies were responsible for both 911 and the banking and credit markets meltdown. It was the Democrat controlled Congress in the last two years of the Bush Administration that exploded the federal budget, and it was the Democrat controlled Congress that refused to allow reforms that would have averted the mortgage crisis and meltdown, and refused to allow audits of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Federal Reserve despite the efforts of the Bush Administration.
Today's "post-America" liberals are so stupid they just allow themselves to believe what they want to believe, instead of seeing the truth for what it is, but not without precedent. The citizens of German from 1935 to 1945 didn't want to know the truth either.

It has already been disproven that the Democratic controlled congress caused any of the financial mess because the conditions that allowed the financial disaster to occur YEARS BEFORE the democrats controlled in the congress in Jan 2007.

The Obama admin does NOT blame everything on Bush. They blame the Bush admin for a few very specific things.
1) The Obama admin blame Bush and Republicans for creating the deepest recession in 70 years.
McCain would be blaming Bush too since Bush’s economic policies are to blame.
2) Obama blames Bush for the useless invasion of Iraq that according to the CIA said terrorism increased by invading Iraq. The DoD also said invading Iraq weakened the US.
The Iraqi people are waiting for the US to leave so they can take their country back by destroying the Bush admin installed govt.
3) Obama blames Bush for destroying foreign relations with much needed allies and enemies to carry out and secure US interests.

Since unemployment skyrocketed in the last two months of the Bush admin to 7.7% (U-3) and 16% (U-6), Obama's goal had to move higher thanks to Bush.

Obama’s promise was to close GITMO was to stop the torture which the Bush admin ordered to take place the CIA Camp No on the GITMO base. Camp No was closed in 2009.

c) Chuck claims Obama promised to make peace with our enemies with no pre-conditioned talks. No. Obama never said he would make peace with them. He only said he would meet with them with no pre-conditions. Obama kept that promise.
d) Obama did promise a new era of bipartisanship but current Republicans think they have the majority and rule the roost when in fact they are the minority party. Obama has repeatedly blamed current Republicans for not accepting the will of the voters. Voters who have given Democrats huge majorities in both house of congress and the presidency.
In the midst of Chuck's drunken stupor, he whines "Will President Obama ever accept responsibility for something... – anything?"
Where was Chuck during the Bush admin where Bush never took responsibility for a single thing negative. Not 1 thing.
However we can look at some basic facts. AQ was to blame for 9-11. That will not change during an Obama admin or the admin of the president in 2050.
Just like it won't change that the policies of the Bush admin with the help of congressional republicans are responsible for the worst recession in 70 years.
This is true now in 2010 and will still be true in 2050.
The real question should be When will Republican voters take responsibility for electing one of the worst presidents in US history? Rather than deflect blame for their foolish decision by attacking Obama for the very mistakes Bush made.

1) Health Care reform succeeded and immigration reform has only just started.
Chuck's Blood Alcohol Content must be triple the state's legal limit at this point in his fact deficient whiners points.

Does Chuck Green know that the Bush admin held trials for terrorist in New York (Bryant Neal Vinas, Shahawar Matin Siraj, Mohammed Junaid Babar), Boston (shoe bomber Richard Reid), and Alexandria (20th 9-11 highjacker Zacarias Moussaoui) ?
Evidently not.
Does Chuck know that only Vinas was an American citizen yet the Bush admin tried them all of the above terror suspects as civilians because the military tribunals were failing to yield convictions. Twnety people tried in military tribunals yielded 3 convictions. That’s a 15% conviction rate.
Civilian courts have yielded an 88% conviction rate.

One last note:
Anyone who thinks Scott Brown got elected due to voter anger over Obama's or democrat policies is delusional. Scott Brown has voted with democrats on many issues. Brown supported the Democrats jobs bill that passed a couple of weeks ago. He also supports Democrat’s immigration bill.
I would not be surprised if Brown switched to the Democratic party next year before his run for re-election in 2012.
Half the time I don't think she or anyone around her have any idea what might pop out of her mouth.
As for the voter disaster in Massachussets - you can't beat someone with no one. And unfortunately, the democrat running was indeed no one. They will learn their lesson, and once again return Massachussets to it's natural position in the universe. I have no doubts at all.
