According to the sympathetic NY Times (“Record Spending by Obama’s Camp Shrinks Coffers”) Obama squandered whooping $400 mln. on his dirty campaign and he “has bombarded his supporters in recent weeks with increasingly urgent pleas for money”.

Obama had huge advantage over Romney in funding, since Romney spent a lot on primaries and the Republicans has collected much less than the incumbent Spender-in-Chief.

Says NY Times: “President Obama has spent more campaign cash more quickly than any incumbent in recent history”

Do we trust such a spender our economic recovery? Thre are only two choices provided – and I am going to be cursed for “not giving enough choices”. But let’s be straight: we do have only two choices in our real life.

I agree about Obama's reckless spending habits, but here's something you might enjoy. The White House Occupant gave a 3 minute speech during his last Birthday Party in Chicago. He needed a Teleprompter. I might also add that after not using a teleprompter for a couple of weeks during his crecent ampaigning and after numerous gaffes, he's back on Teleprompter script. It amazes me how people can support someone who is so unfocused and intellectually bereft, that he can't string a few coherant sentences together.

Poor, poor baby........ Do I feel sorry for him.... H*ll no! It tickles my fancy that this
arrogant fraud, who said he would use public finance for his campaign in 2008
until he found out he could drown McCain in money with a $750 million campaign
fund (or at least that is what he declared, but we know how dishonest he is
so it may have been much more). Then he predicted he would have a $billion
campaign fund this time around! Think his having to beg doesn't give me a
thrill up my leg? I am delirious with laughter.

Alot of this is due to the economy. You're seeing the effects of moderate/liberal crossover due to high unemployment. While the polls are fairly even right now, I think Romney's polling will improve as we get closer to the election. Moderates often vote their wallet (i.e., base their choice on the economy), and liberals must be upset about several recent "policy stalls" (e.g., failure to make progress on gun control, failure to stop states from defunding Planned Parenthood, failure to pass any federal LGBT legislation like the Homosexual Classrooms Act, failure to stop states from enacting Right-to-Work laws, etc.). The Right-to-Work issue is major. Unions are one of Obama's most important supporters, and union dues have dropped about 15% over the past couple of years (from $8 billion to $7 billion) due to enactment of new state level Right-to-Work laws. To put this into perspective, unions historically have donated about $1 billion per year to political campaigns. The drop in dues amounts to the entire union political funding budget.

That man can't stop spending money. At least he's wasting his own peoples money like George Soros. George has lots of money and will keep him going and all that money from Solyndra will start making it's way in to the campaign.

This is how I see it;
IF and I mean IF Obama was all that he try to make the people believe he is, and IF he had done as good of a job etc. etc. the facts would speak for themselves, and he would not have to be out begging....To many people see him for what he really is, an epic looser who is in over his head....

It wasn't only campaign money that he has spent more quickly than any incumbent in recent history, he has managed to squander more tax money than any president, ever.
We can't afford his tactics or his preferential treatment of segments of society any more.
I can only hope and pray that his next birthday will be anyplace other than the WH.

Today's paper reported that he has spent $400 million in campaign funds, mostly in giving away free cell phones and getting voters registered. Disgusting, if you ask me.
