Obama in Full Blown Panic Mode Over ‘You Didn’t Build That’ Remark

doofiegirl POTL~PWCM~JLA 2012/07/27 08:40:57
President Obama’s campaign scrambled to combat Republican efforts to highlight his “you didn’t build that” remark — a sign there are concerns the story could have legs far into the election cycle.

Team Obama released a new television ad late Tuesday with the president himself directly addressing the controversy. And the Democratic National Committee circulated a memo Wednesday detailing how it would respond to the GOP messaging.

The actions indicate Democrats are concerned the remark could haunt the campaign, especially given the persistent GOP strikes at Obama’s handling of the economy. Republicans have repeatedly knocked the president for not understanding the private sector, and their attacks have been amplified by criticism from business leaders, who were unhappy with Obama’s comment. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/240187... I did not vote fro him. I am proud not to be associated with him. He alienated every businessman in this country. This is not a Socialist country. The government does not start businesses, they only tax and hinder them.

Now he knows how Hillary felt during the Democratic Primary in '08 when he sympathized with the knee jerk reaction among voters to take her prophetic criticism over his lack of experience to get bills past Congress out of context, (she cited "it took a President", Lyndon Johnson getting racist leaning Congressmen to pass the Civil Rights Act) and Obama followers making her comment into a disparaging remark about the work of MLK JR. Does he NOW he feel "it takes a President to get things done"? and individuals - like MLK Jr couldn't have done what he did if it wasn't for the opportunities passed along to him by others- LIKE Lyndon JOHNSON? Obama not defending Hillary, and feeding into it for votes, was just the start of his "divider in chief" approach. Guess he doesn't like it when it's done to him. Difference is we know HE meant it, and really did agree with Hillary!

I was watching MSNBC and the moron there was comparing Romney's comment at the Olympics to Obama's. The biggest difference was, he wasn't asking them to give their money away. Children do owe their parents. My son's ranked number 2 here in Arizona in football. He owes thanks to his mother who sat in those bleachers every game for 6 years. He makes $700 a week doing what his father does. He owes his father thanks for fighting that kid everyday teaching him how to stand on his own 2 feet. He's headed to Michigan tomorrow for college and is their Line Backer. He's going to climb so far in life that everyone will know my name but he doesn't owe me anything but a thank you. Obama wants businesses to give up what they earned. The only thing a business owner owes is a thank you to his mentors who taught him

What Obama fails to percieve is that the only reason that roads are in place is because of business. I remember when only a few of the roads in towns were paved and they were the ones that the business's were on.

Hopefully "you didn't build that" does haunt him until election day, that is assuming we have a election day, and help cost him the election. Four more years of this usurper and this great country will be no more.

Fits well with a "Beer Fest", "57 States", "I'm just now proud to be an American" (Michele Obama). This is the intellect of this pretend to be President. The guy is inept, incompetent, has no clue of his duties except for spending us into oblivion. Worst individual ever as President.
