Obama Has 21 Days to Drop Biden: Would Dumping Biden Signal Desperation?

President Obama has a lot of pressure to dump Vice President Joe Biden from the 2012 election campaign. Biden would not likely run for president in 2016 at the age of 73. Biden, a former Senator from Delaware, doesn't help with voters in the swing states like Florida, Virginia, Ohio or Pennsylvania. And Biden continues to bore people except with his gaffes ("20th Century") or outlandish rhetoric (accusing Republicans of enslaving people).

President Obama could shake things up by replacing Biden with Secretary Hillary Clinton as his vice president on his 2012 re-election ticket. Some pundits argue that would signal desperation by the Obama 2012 campaign because it would look as if Obama made a bad choice in picking Biden in 2008. Dumping Biden would only happen in desperation.

Then again, maybe President Obama would dump Biden for a candidate like Hillary Clinton because even Biden considers her more qualified for vice president (watch the video).

Have nothing to "sleep off" but will tell you, I'd take Dick Cheney over that bumbling bozo Biden in a heartbeat. Maybe you and he ought to go on a hunting trip with the former VP...put your running shoes on

Ah, so you finally agree with me that the Veep for Bush Version 1.0 was Dan Quayle.

See how smart you can be once you quit snorting all that stuff that Obama did when he was a mere child of Allah in college?

Give me a break...I never was as stupid as Obama or did drugs. And frankly don't give a rats ass what happened during Bush/Quayle time frame. My concern is with the GD guy in the WH now.

"...don't give a rats ass what happened during Bush/Quayle time frame. My concern is with the GD guy in the WH now..."

See? You and I are agreeing more and more... It's just that when I said: 'Sorta like what Dan Quayle was for Bush (Version 1.0)'
You replied: "check your calendar Quail and Bush were years apart.....get some glasses and some smarts"

That's when you started in with the cute little snide ad-hominem comments. Now all of a sudden (after sleeping it off?) you came to your senses and acknowledged that PresGB (version 1.0) and Quayle were NOT "years apart" since Dan Quayle was his VP.

That's understandable, besides, at your age, memory is the second thing that goes (I forgot what the first thing was!... hmmm, I must be catchin' up with ya.).

He will not replace him. Biden is much more crucial to this Presidency than everybody who likes it is crediting them for. He will tear Paul Ryan apart at the VP debate, like he did to Sarah Palin in 2008. If Palin had done well in that debate, McCain would have won, but he didn't. Obama won by about 8.5 million votes. That's almost 10 million people. Certainly, it won't be that high this time, but still, Biden will contribute to helping the independent voters decide whether they want to chance right-wing extremism or not.

It would signal wisdom, but frankly it's like putting a new flag on a sinking ship. It's going to get ugly in my opinion.

I wouldn't put it past Obama to throw ANYBODY under the bus to hold onto power.

Remember when he said he could no more disown Reverend Wright any more than he coud disown the black race, and then shortly there after disowned the Reverend anyways, after Wright wouldn't keep his mouth shut?
    obama under the bus

He publicly disowned his own Reverend, his supposed mentor, and they said it didn't matter - it doesn't mean anything. It was actually a telling sign of things to come.

I've always thought highly of Joe Biden. He's a good vp. All the Republicans have said inaccurate or stupid things when making speeches or debating each other. Democrats can't top the other party for making gaffs. I think our VP was talking about the chains or shackles that Wall Street will put on us, unless we keep regulations in place.

Democrats will continue to protect the public from dishonest bankers and Wall Street financiers. Republicans don't care, they want these financial institutions to be free to follow their own path. If they make bad decisions that damage your 401K and other investments, that's ok, the taxpayers will bail them out, because they're TOO BIG TO FAIL.

Thank God for O'Bama and Biden who are making the effort to improve the standards and guidelines of Corporations. I know the Repugnicons don't like rules that control or("SHACKLE") business, they must be "FREE" but, if we don't watch them carefully, we will pay for their stupidity. It's called "keeping them honest". Who's not in favor of that?

Wow, that would be a hoot... Corzine at the inauguration wearing that orange jumpsuit...

Oh, that's right, if Barry wins, Holder's JD selectively chooses who gets prosecuted. That means Corzine could attend in his normal business attire instead of the handcuffs and shackles that his MF Global investors want him wearing.

PP, some of your photos appear to be obvious Photoshop creations. I have to admit that at our Tea Party events, we have had some non-members show up carrying such blather, but we have alerted members that such signage is not welcome at our events. We do support signage that remains in concert with our mission statement, but the racist stuff is not welcome.

I would venture that such photos as you indicate could very well be the folks we asked to leave our event, and they simply walked across the street where the media shot their photos....

Of course the MSM and press is all over anyone that shows up with such non-sense, but can you show me any evidence of a core TEA PARTY ADVOCACY of racism? Can you provide me with anything indicating it is the stated policy of the Tea Party to advocate such behavior?
