The progs love to say that.
Since obama graduated Harvard with the SECOND highest honors, Magna Cum Laude, there had to be at least one person that graduated with obama and took the highest honor, Summa Cum Laude.
Who was that person? Who was it that was smarter than even obama when he attended Harvard?

The answer will surprise and astound you.

Obama bashers are so funny to me. He is not the first president not to do what the people want him to do but oddly enough he's the only one who seems to have to prove himself to a bunch of idiots. How many of y'all even attended Harvard. He's the president GET OVER IT!!. The stock market just topped 13,000 and yesterday it was reported that IRAs are once again where they were before our financial crisis. He's intelligent, well educated, honest, well spoken and is fighting hard despite an uncooperative congress whose only agenda is to see him fail.....at the cost of seniors, vets and the most vulnerably poor. All attributes our last president sorely lacked. Analysts say it will take 10+ yrs to recover from the Bush nightmare but Obama has made huge strides and it's estimated that he has achieved 85% of his campaign promises. I am completely independent since I will not follow any one party being led around by the nose and limiting my options at the voting booth. I DIDN'T vote for Obama in 08, was his biggest skeptic, but am extremely impressed with his long list of accomplishments and he's more than earned my vote this November.

Obama "inherited" his presidency from himself and his fellow democrats in congress.
The "blame Bush" rhetoric got old about a year ago.

So it's hard to believe a multiracial man born into middle class America could graduate Harvard Law in the top 10% and go on to actually make a difference as president? You questioned Bush's background too huh? Doubt it. Funny cause he graduated Harvard Business with less than a 3.0 and was known as the Dunce. Anyone question that when he was elected? No so why question Obama's Harvard records. Right is just Right

What was Obamas grade point average? When he releases his school records we can check them, and not everything is racial. The fact that Obama is black doesn't make whites racist.

That's the point he's not 100% black. His mom is white but he graduated Magnum Cum Laude so I'm sure his GPA was high enough. The point is how many other presidents had to prove their education. Some earlier presidents didn't even make it that far but their authority wasn't challenged.

How many other president hid their college years?

Had he graduated mid year with a small class he could have had a 2.2 GPA and still be a magna cum laude.

He didn't graduate mid year, and he didn't graduate with a small class. And frankly, whoever finished last in the graduating class at Harvard Law School is still a lot more accomplished than the valedictorian of Podunk University.

As for "hiding their college years", let's talk about George W. Bush. What percentage of classes did he actually attend? Rumor has it that would be somewhere around 20%. Where are the papers he wrote? Where is even one professor who remembers him, much less even one who could say with a straight face "he did well in my class"?

Ok but why is it in question? He's over 40 so he ggraduated some time ago. No one ever questioned it until now. That's because no one gave a rat's ass until he didn't turn the U.S around in one year. Can anyone just admit that no matter who would have been elected after Bush, it was gone take years to fix things just like it took years to screw them up.

Why is the President's grade point average relevant? He graduated from Harvard Law School Magna Cum Laude, which indicates he was in the top 10% of his class. Why do you need to know more than that?

The suggestion (not that you personally are making it) that the President got into Harvard under affirmative action, aka "because he was black" is racist. And I frankly can't think of any other reason why anyone needs to see his grade point average. No offense.

It's just nice to know our Presidents personal history. It would be nice if he decided to make it available. I don't understand why his records are sealed. I do agree with you that affirmative action is racist. Why would Harvard of all places need to use affirmative action? They only accept the best right?
Here is the selection process now, according to Wikipedia:

    Harvard Law Review

    Selection

Using a competitive process that takes into account first-year grades, an editing exercise, and a written commentary on a court decision, The Harvard Law Review selects between 41 and 43 editors annually from the second-year Law School class, which numbers 560.

Two editors from each of first-year class’s seven sections (fourteen in all) are selected half by their first year grades and half by their scores on the writing competition. Another twenty are selected solely on their scores on the writing competition. The other seven to nine are selected by a discretionary committee, either to fulfill the review’s race-based affirmative action program, to select students who just missed the cut by either of the other two processes, or by some other criteria as the committee sees fit.

We're gaining almost a quarter of a million jobs a month, where as 38 months ago we were losing 3/4 of a million jobs. The unemployment rate continues to drop, while back then it was on its way up to over 10%. General Motors is the world's number one auto maker, whereas back then they were on the verge of going out of business (with the Republicans rooting for it to do just that). The war in Iraq is over and the war in Afghanistan is winding down, whereas back then there was no plan, no strategy, and no idea what to do next. Osama bin Laden is dead, whereas back then we were barely even looking for him. Women have pay protection in the workplace now. They didn't then. We have a consumer financial protection board now. We didn't then. 30 million more Americans have access to health insurance coverage than did then. And the United States is the most respected nation in the world, whereas back then the world was laughing at us.

You are so right. See all these people see is the color of his skin. They act like he was suppose to create 14 million jobs in a year after becoming president but where was this hateful passion when Bush sent millions of jobs over seas and this war first started. The Bush administration couldn't even get a fix on Bin Laden but now he's dead. Bush ran this country like his own playground. At least Obama did help people. My only issue with him is the fact that he tried to be the passive president. He shouold have been stood up to Congress to implement his plans. Who knows what he could have achieved if everyone had worked with him and not against him. I've heard the Republican candidates talk about improving the 1%, cutting the Health care plans Obama set forth, trying to take over women's bodies, and more b.s that has nothing to do with helping middle class America. Maybe they're from Pluto if they think he's the worst president.

LOL if you're going to get your statistics from Freedomworks, it's no wonder that you're so misinformed. Among other things, the Right Wing conveniently overlooks the source of debt. If I ordered a new Mercedes that costs $100,000 in December, and then the car (and the bill) is delivered in January, the Right Wing would count that $100,000 as "debt added in January" when in fact the debt was increased because I ordered the car in December. Same with the budget. Bush passed tax giveaways to millionaires. Bush started an unfunded war of lies in Iraq. A lot of the bills came due under President Obama, but it's still debt added by Bush.

As I read through your comment, I knew it was only a matter of time before you threw out an accusation of racism. And i was right.

Making racism accusations is, after all, one of the few cards Obama's supporters have to play. Heaven knows that Obama can't be re-elected based on, you know, his actual record and job performance.

Obama can't run on his record, so he has his minions out there making racism accusations and trying to sell people on the false idea that Republicans are "waging war on women." Pretty sad.

You have it completely reversed, Jen. It is the Republicans who are scared to death of running against President Obama's record. Why else do you think that at a time when the economy is showing its strongest recovery in at least five years, and when every American, liberal and conservative alike, lists jobs as the number one priority, the Republicans are focusing instead on trying to deprive women of their personal rights? The Republicans CAN'T run against President Obama's record because he has accomplished so much in so many different areas. So all they can run on is an appeal to the social 'values' of Right Wing extremists and on character attacks against the President. And if you are going to deny that the overwhelming majority of those character attacks are race-based, then you are woefully underinformed.

And it's pretty hilarious that you're throwing out the usual Right Wing racism denials in response to a post that doesn't even MENTION the President's race. How many times does the Right Wing have to be reminded that calling a racist a racist is not racism.

I said nothing of racism sweetie. I spoke on the things that have been posted on this site as well as said on the news. Bush didn't keep his campaing promises and started a war that cost billions of dollars a month but everything fell on Obama. People need to get real and realize the truth. A lot of mess fell on Obama's shoulders as a result of the bad job Bush did. After Clinton's presidency, there was a surplus. Do you actually believe Obama cause this major national debt in the three years he's been in office?

Is that not what you guys call it now? What would you like to call the "waging war on women"? When Mitt Romney was asked about not having many women employees, he went to binders full of applicants. He and Ryan both opposed the Lily Ledbetter Act, and they think that the government should dictate how women control their bodies. They think it's right to force women to go through labor, and he even endorsed a man who thought everything is 'God's will'. That rape and incest are 'God's will' and those women should still be forced to live with that for the rest of their lives. So no, Republicans aren't "waging war on women" at all.
