I did not watch this particular speech, however I have seen and heard enough of how this president speaks to know that he pauses much too long for effect--or maybe he's lost his place in the tele-prompter (again).. I can see then how maybe this reporter was mistaken in thinking Obama was done speaking. Sometimes you never know. The way he sticks his nose in the air and all, it looks like he's inviting a question or comment. Start paying attention and see what I'm talking about. Remember these reporters are like stallions at the gate waiting to be the first to ask a question FOR THE PEOPLE (well, sometimes).

It doesn't matter who the president is, the position is that of respect. You can protest his decisions, but don't interrupt him. And besides, do you really want to insult a man with unlimited access to nuclear weapons?

Sorry, he was not campaigning. He was giving a press conference in the Rose Garden which is his turf and the press were invited. The guy that heckled him under such circumstances was totally out of line and showing disrespect for the office. The Republicans would have been all over someone doing that to Bush.

NEVER interrupt our Commander in Chief during a speech. That was appalling. He handled it all with Grace though. I'd make such that man NEVER stepped in my presence again.
