Considering the demeanor of the tweets send by leaders of the DNC, I think the gloves are off and Obama should be ready to take as good as his hired SEIU thugs and media hacks have dished out.
I have always felt a president should be treated with respect for the office they hold, now I am to the point that I don't care anymore. He certainly has not shown the right side of this country any respect, only disdain and contempt. I have never seen a president that so openly opposed half the citizens of this country.
If he stood up for America like he is suppose to do .I would say disrespectful,but he don't speak out against anything that is wrong,in fact he encourages bad behavior.
Obama has disrespected the American people, the country, and the Constitution since he took office. He has sent his family around the world several times on lavish vacations while citizens suffered loss of home value, foreclosures, loss of jobs and loss of respect for the most powerful office in the world. He has repeatedly lied to us and our allies. He is on the ropes with probable Supreme Court disapproval of his unconstitutional Obamacare as well as a ruling expected to support Arizona's immigration law.
All that and more, and Obama can't withstand a reporter asking a legitimate question? He's a bigger loser than I thought.
I don't think it's appropriate to interrupt the President while he is still speaking. But in this case, it wasn't "heckling", it was a reporter asking a question.
And for those who are so offended by what happened, I wonder where they were when Bush and long before him Reagan was constantly interrupted and heckled while he was trying to speak. Guess that was okay, huh?
notice how well obama's plant worked. for days people have been out how obama was treated rather then waht he said. notice that no bush supporter ever mentioned he was heckled during a speech. wonder why?
I hear a LOT about how unfair this is because the Office of the Presidency SHOULD be respected and THIS is true.. But then again.. I don't think that this incident was AIMED at the Office of the Presidency..
I believe that this incident was aimed at a PERSON who has shown ZERO respect for the Will of the people,, the role of Congress and one who has shown NOTHING but active DISRESPECT for the Supreme Court of these United States on MANY occasions..
And it is for these reasons that I think this was fair.. Obama is ONLY getting a little bit back of what he hands out so freely and so frequently..
Regardless of your beliefs, protocol should prevail, otherwise, there is no order. If there is no order, there is no country. This man was misguided, and anyone that agrees with him because they do not agree with the present administration, is making a horrible choice, because they are likely to win the next election and they would not approve of this at that point, so try not being a hypocrite, and do some critical thinking about life in the USA.
I personally think you should wait until the President finishes his speech, and ask questions when it is appropriate. Republicans what FLIP if someone tried to butt-in Bush's unlettered speeches -
