You are right. I have no compassion for criminals of any kind. As soon as those kids found out that they are in an illegal status it's their responsibility to right the wrong. They need to come in the right way.

no compassion - this is the only home they know...and some of them have served this country to protect YOUR rights. Furthermore, who gives them the incentive to come here in the first place? Republican business owners. They are CRIMINALS - who ILLEGALLY hire the illegal..."the Obama administration is deporting record numbers of illegal immigrants and auditing hundreds of businesses that blithely hire undocumented The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency expects to deport about 400,000 people this fiscal year, nearly 10 percent above the Bush administration's 2008 total and 25 percent more than were deported in 2007. The pace of company audits has roughly quadrupled since President George W. Bush's final year in office."
    http://www.washingtonpost.com...
The Obama administration has deported a record number of illegals by using a different approach - instead of raiding places - he is auditing the books of companies..looking for I-9's and fining the companies then deporting. Guarantee you those same business owners - who are only interested in increased profit and not in America they are willing to break the law and exploit people and hire illegals perpetuating the problem...they vote republican..they are voting for Romney.

Tell that to the republican business owners (the Romney supporters) who 'illegally' hire the illegal and give them the incentive to come here. The Obama administration has been deporting them in record numbers by auditing thebooks of companies for I-9's and fining the business then deporting the illegal.

"Obama suggested he ordered the policy change because Capitol Hill Republicans have blocked the so-called DREAM Act, buts said the lawmakers still have time to pass such legislation.
“I’ve said this time and again to Congress,” the president said at the Rose Garden press conference. “Send me the DREAM Act, put it on my desk, and I’ll sign it.”
In urging Congress to pass the legislation, the president said his change was “stop gap” and not “a permanent fix.”
The president also made clear he change was not amnesty, immunity or a path to citizenship."

This country has a long history of giving citizenship to soldiers and offering citizenship to people educated in this country. In fact, the dream act was passed by one house of congress and only held up by the RWNJs dedication to blocking any proposal of this president. The people who were sneaked in to the country by "labor contractors" employed by the corporations have been laid off and slipped back across the border in droves. Others have been sent home by the border patrol which has become more active under the present administration. Apparently most of the posters on SH have confused this group of illegals with the vets and graduates that qualify for the presidents program

The dream act was blocked in 2010 by the Senate. Now, if I remember right the Senate in 2010 was controlled by the Democrats. But, it seems obama is saying: screw the Senate I'm going to do it anyway, that's not how our system works and obama's wrong on this one. Why did obama wait til now to do this, and not in 2010 right after the vote? I think we all know the answer to that one, it's quite obvious.

The dream act was blocked by a Republican filibuster in the senate 2010. Blockage of that filibuster failed by a vote of 56 to 43. The bill was reintroduced and again was filibustered with the 60 votes required for closure not forthcoming. The dream act was reintroduced in 2011 and failed to pass. Obama has always supported the act. I assume you don't. In the sense that Romney and other Republicans have now decided that the dream act is a part of their no victories for Obama at any cost program, they just screwed up again in this election campaign.

The vote was 55-41 and since it fell 5 votes short of passing you can thank Karl Hagen, Ben Nelson, Jon Tester, Max Baucus, Joe Manchin, Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor, Democrats all, who voted with the R's. And Harry Reid who voted ‘no’ for the Bill to be revived later. It was, however, revived again in 2011 where it awaits Congressional action, but since obama illegally took it upon himself to implement it it really doesn't matter now, does it? Like I said: That's not how our system works, and that's something liberals will never understand.

Your definition of "illegal" is strange to say the least. Executive interpretation of the law has been part of our constitution since day one. If congress does not like the executive interpretation of the law, they may pass a new law. That is something liberals have understood for years. A dictatorship is not only unconstitutional, but the apparent goal of those who bought the court system and congress and are trying to buy the presidency. If they are successful in buying the presidency, Democracy will be dead in this country. Since the RWNJs have never trusted democracy, they'll be happy to live under a dictatorship.

Us unconverted Liberals call the system that has worked for years in this country, "checks and balances". This is a notion that strikes fear in the hearts of the hard right wing.

We Conservatives want exactly what we have in place right now: a Representative Republic, which is the system of "checks and balances." In your reply above you seem to think we are a Democracy, which is not the system of checks and balances, it's a system, (as Hamilton said) where the many opress the few. Seems to me that's what the hard left wingers would love. Seems that everytime the vote doesn't go their way they run off to the Courts to try and change it.

Well , you are darn close to having a government that has totally been bought. Then you can eliminate the "Representative" and go straight to feudalism like existed in the 16th and 17th century in Europe. Things were a lot better then when the land owners and clergy ran things. This whole business of Democracy is just a passing fad.
