It is the first Presidential Fist Bump on record. In addition to the traditional kiss on the cheek and hug, Barack Obama and his wife Michelle pounded fists in celebration of Barack's winning the 2008 Democratic Primary.

I am the Chairman of a very respected Board of Directors and we started doing the "Fist Bump" when we were in the Black for two quarters in a row! Prior to that, our Finance Chairman would give the Finance Committee members high fives when we had a good quarter. I am glad that Americans are allowed to think for themselves, and have the freedoms to make decisions based upon our own morals, family/community background, education and religious beliefs! American are not normally lead by the nose...unless they want to be!

There was nothing wrong with what they did. This was just a more hip handshake between a wonderful loving couple. My wife and I do it all the time right before she gets up to sing. I don't understand why people are afraid of things they don't understand. The people that have a problem with this MUST be from a older generation becasue most people that a breathing on earth understood this.
