Every year, taxpayers in England have to spend $57.8 million for the royal family of Great Britain to make sure everything’s maintained and taken care of -- and the people in England are upset about it.

So how much did Americans pay our "royal" family? How much did we spend last year? Quite more than the UK, to say they least. The Obama family costs taxpayers $1.4 billion a year, which is 20 times more expensive than the British royal family!

DAILYMAIL.CO.UK reports:
Politicians looking for savings to deal with the national debt crisis should perhaps start by abolishing the President, as he costs taxpayers over $1.4billion every year.

The Royal family are paid as executors of the Crown estates whatever profits they make are handed to government they are given back 15% as payment. So it's relatively cost free.

I'm tired of how much americans spend on politicians in general. Most people are lucky to have a measly 401k or overpriced health insurance. But these parasites get to invest in the defense companies they're voting on contracts for (google it), get cadillac healthcare plans, have red carpets everywhere, etc. And then on top of that they get plenty of lobbyist "gifts" and "contributions" to "supplement" their income (which of course, they get to vote on too...). Disgusting!
