WASHINGTONEXAMINER.COM reports:
After the final Democratic primary in June 2008, Obama said that future generations would look back on his primary victory as “the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.”

Obama also didn’t get that the joke was on him:

My plan will continue to reduce the carbon pollution that is heating our planet, because climate change is not a hoax. More droughts and floods and wildfires are not a joke. (Cheers, applause.) They are a threat to our children’s future.

What’s most interesting about that line is what Obama’s not willing to say. He no longer says he’ll do anything about it. Since his climate-change bill died in the summer of 2009, Obama has not pushed any legislation to restrict greenhouse-gas emissions. He’s decided it’s a loser, apparently, and for good reason. Polls show that people are willing to fight global warming, but not really if it means paying more.

Obama promised to stop the seas from rising.

The only thing more disturbing than Obama's adherence to Gore-inthian eco-cult religion is the throngs of millions that believe it too.

Look at this cheering gang of insane disciples. Do these idiots realize Obama has abandoned them because it's a political loser?

    He believes in JUNK SCIENCE.
The globe has been warming since the glaciers started retreating from Staten Island, and will continue to warm until the next cooling cycle of the sun, perhaps 20000 years from now. It's been on pretty much the same cycle for the last two million years.
Did the dinosaurs cause the extended global warming of the Jurassic age? Get real!

Do the right thing people and pick up after youselves. Make your mother proud. You don't need government regulations and a tax on the air you exhale to keep the planet clean. I think we've all seen enough data manipulated to try and prove a non-existing theory to finally put this whole Gore thing to bed now.

obama lives in a world where no one says anything bad to him, no one criticizes him, no one says he can't do what he wants and when he wants to do it, in short, everyone agrees with him and loves him. If that isn't a fantasy world, then I don't know what is.
Problem is that his fantasy world is our nightmare. I think it is about time obama and company join the rest of us in the real world. Personally, I don't think he can handle it. Imagine a world where you don't have to see obamas face everywhere you look. A world where telepromters don't make speeches. A world where Americans are not forced to pay for a socialist type of healthcare that is not sustainable. A world where unions can't force people to join them and where they don't force people to pay dues or face the violence that is unions.
I could go on, but what is the point? People who believe as I do will just agree and liberals will attack. Usually with sarcasm, lies, threats, and ridicule. It just doesn't seem to change. My one wish (or fantasy) is that liberals wake up and see what is happening before November, and get rid of obama.

I believe green energy probably would work, but then you have taxes, and regulations,
It should be let all energy, if people who can afford green energy then buy without taxpayer funding it. I believe coal is still the cheapest energy around.

One more reason to kick him out in November. If he gets back in he will either write several more Executive Orders doing what he wants to or tell the EPA to "Go Wild" putting in whatever new regulations they might want to with his full support ! These will kill domestic energy production forcing us to be more reliant on foreign sources.

I think he has the same approach to the idea of man made global warming as Al Gore, which is that
"... it is the awareness itself that will drive the change, and one of the ways it will drive the change is through global governance and global agreements ..."
    ..............

No matter what the certainty is that man made global warming is real or not, I'm not going to support plans that give more global power to the powerful interests which have caused a lot of the problems and which are actively seeking more control over the population.

So now we are turning this into a political joke? The climate change is part of the earth's cyclic process and has nothing to do with politics. But thanks to Gore and many other politicians we have it.

As old as the earth is we have no clue to exactly how many changes in climate she has as we have only known for 200 years in our time which is but a second in earth's time. His comment was just that a comment. And this summer in my area we actually had fewer days of triple digits than the last 5 years.

Gore had two fallacies in his movie "The Inconvenient Truth." First he said, climatic change can be fixed, which it cannot. Second he said, that Mount Kilimanjaro is losing ice because of climatic change. Its ice pack has not been replenished in 10,000 years. so it has ice that is being evaporated by the sun, and not being replaced.
  • Barbara Tim Upham 2012/09/12 16:00:09

Imagine that! Ice evaporating because of the sun and the ice not being replenished until the next mini-ice age. What a concept?

The idea that man could have a serious impact on the planet's climate in the first place reeks of arrogance and fantasy. Since unbiased science doesn't support the idea, they have been cooking the books for 25 years to get their agenda in place.
