The Obama administration is battling to restore a controversial
provision of a new federal law that it admits could have been used to
arrest and detain citizens indefinitely – even if their actions were
protected by the First Amendment.

Tasine 2012/09/15 13:35:07+4Excellent post. Sounds like the Obama Admin stumbled into a court where their stonewalling wasn't appreciated. What struck me was that the judge couldn't get the Administration to answer specific questions - we all tend to think that is because they think they don't have to. I am beginning to think, however, it is because they are too stupid to even understand what she is asking for. Stupidity + intense arrogance in some circumstances can be funny - THIS wasn't funny.

+1NDAA is here to stay. Just because some judge says no to it doesn't change a thing. Who is going to force Obama to follow her ruling? On top of that we will never know if someone is taken under NDAA because they are not allowed any calls, no attorney, no trial etc. No one would know what happened to you. You would just be missing.reply - Mel the Witch POTL PWCM~JLA 2012/09/15 14:23:35
