WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama is creating a new office to bolster education of African-American students.

The White House says the office will coordinate the work of communities and federal agencies to ensure that African-American youngsters are better prepared for high school, college and career.

Obama is announcing his election-year initiative Wednesday night in a speech to the civil rights group the National Urban League as he seeks to rally black voters. Aides say his executive order, to be signed Thursday, will set a goal of producing "a more effective continuum" of programs for African-American students.

That should be a hoot, what is this new office going to teach? How to have more illegitimate children to get more welfare. How to use your food stamp debit cards to gamble at the casino. How to take a cruise on the tax payer's dime. Coordinate, he can't even prove he went to college, let alone learned anything to qualify him as a constitutional scholar.

White House for Blacks? I didn't know they could show preferential treatment for any color. It should be for all regardless of color.

Will not make any difference. Waste of time and money. He is trying to retain the Black Voters since he told them he was for Homosexual Marriage and gave Amnesty to 800,000 Illegals. Too little too late

I just don't get it. Equality implys that all people get the same education. Are they sitting in the same classrooms with the rest of us? Yes, they are. The same material is presented to everybody. Learn or fall behind.
