Obama Congratulates New Muslim Brotherhood Leader of Egypt

President Obama phoned the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohammed Morsi on Sunday evening to congratulate him on becoming Egypt’s new president, the U.S. Embassy in Cairo said in a Twitter message around 7 PM eastern time. Earlier, White House press secretary Jay Carney in a statement called the Islamist’s election a “milestone” in Egyptians’ transition to democracy. “Millions of Egyptians voted in the election, and President-elect Morsi and the new Egyptian government have both the legitimacy and responsibility of representing a diverse and courageous citizenry,” he said.

What Obama does not realize is that this is not a day to celebrate. Morsi is fanatical. He says they will pray in Jerusalem or die trying. That sounds like an act of aggression against our ally Israel.

"Our capital shall not be Cairo, Mecca, or Medina. It shall be Jerusalem. Our cry shall be: 'Millions of martyrs march toward Jerusalem'. Banish the sleep from the eyes of all Jews. Come on, you lovers of martydrom, you are all Hamas. Brandish your weapons... say your prayers... We say it: loud and clear. We shall pray in Jerusalem or else we shall die as martyrs on its threshold."

Obama phoning him to congratulate him is kow-towing to the fringe elements from the Middle East and a disrespect our ally Israel.
