Obama claims to be fair and compassionate. So why then does he not help his own brother who is living in poverty in Kenya?

Obama has no use for his brother. His brother cannot vote for him. Worse, his brother actually believes a man should choose his own values and manage his own life. His brother is an opponent of socialism and all of Obama's ideals. His brother is one of us. Only Obama's cronies get the money Obama claims go to the needy or the middle class. The rest of us get hurt.

Obama makes $400,000 for his salary. He also gets thousands more for extra expenses. He could afford to give $1000 to his brother.

Well I can imagine that if he did help him out than quite a few people would be complaining that he's using his position to serve his family. Like when a CEO hires his unqualified son to "supervise".

I totally disagree. How is sending some $$ (his money not ours) to his brother who lives in poverty the same thing? God only knows he has given plenty of our money to his cronies, right?

Yeah, I agree about that, except since he's president his money technically is our money. His salary comes from taxpayer dollars. People have complained about Michelle taking vacations on our dime before, so I guessed that him sending money to his brother could be bent as "helping family with taxpayer money".

Film maker Dinesh D’Souza tracked half brother George down in his village where he seems just fine. The two men chatted for awhile on a park bench. D'Souza was curious to know why the half-brother of the most powerful man on the planet lives in poverty and without any financial help from President Obama.

“I think he has a family of his own,” George Obama says. “I’m a member of his family, but I’m over-age, so I help myself.”

It appears the two men know of each other but don't really know each other on a personal level. "George is the rebel in Obama’s family. He’s the black sheep,” says D'Souza. So, perhaps he wants no help. Perhaps the president would help him if he asked. No one really knows.

Could be. I have no idea what his relationship is with any of his extended family members. His half sister in Hawaii campaigns for him so I would guess they have a fairly tight relationship.

Perhaps his brother does not want help. Oprah gave the reason why she does not help her family and friends either. They all used to ask her for money and she finally stopped all of it.

Families all have their own reasons and their all come to agreements on what is acceptable for them. It is no ones business at all but theirs.
