President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign paid nearly $93k to hold a kick-off event at the Ohio State University. And, at the time, photos of the event showed large sections of the arena unoccupied, causing the New York Times to write that the kick-off event “had the feeling of a concert by an aging rock star.
Obama’s campaign had put out a maximum effort to fill the Schottenstein Center’s eighteen thousand seats. Begging for people wasn’t an exercise Team Obama had experienced much in 2008. Filling a venue wasn’t even a major issue in the Democratic famine year of 2010, when an Obama midterm rally held on OSU’s quad drew an unexpectedly large crowd. At the time, excited Obama aides hooked up reporters with local officials who confirmed the total— thirty thousand.
After 4 years this wasn't the "change" Obama was looking for----Obama currently HOPES the size of his attendence CHANGES.
The DNC are jamming people into select sections of arena's and photgraphing and filming from empty sections so the crowds appear to be larger--similar to what they do at WNBA games on TV.

Sometimes when I entertain, I sing a few songs that are 'nice' to listen to. Then I sing a great song and get applause and tips. (gratuities) I do this over and over and usually end with a good, but not great, song. I want my audience to think there are a lot of really great songs in my repertoire. Sometimes I end with a really great song and, if there is a lot of applause, I end my show amid the applause. Right now my audience wants another really great song. So, it is very likely they'll come back next time...to hear what they believe they were promised. They want more.
When Barack Obama made his very first speech, you heard everything he had to say. If he had been white, his second speech would have been the last one that drew a crowd,-he always said the same thing; "We want change...we want to make America better!"
In the Bible book, Ecclesiastes, was it Solomon who said, "...there is nothing new under the sun...?" Could be he was talking about any Barack Obama speech...
Is it "Obama Campaign is “Looking for Warm Bodies” To Fill Half-Empty Rallys"
Or is it "We're purposely reducing the size of the crowds at our rallies to cut down on costs"
I've heard both within the last 24 hours
has to pay people to attend empty stadiums .
Lack of cash is holding down attendance
