The point is arguable, but Romney botched the facts and Obama crushed him. In the Rose Garden the day after the attack, Obama said near the top: "[T]here is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence." In the days ahead, administration officials would portray the complex, sustained as a spontaneous reaction to an incendiary YouTube clip. Near the end of the Rose Garden statement, POTUS added: "No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for." But, near the beginning you have this:
"We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others."
Which shows that his focus was on the video and not the very real terrorists attack.

    No twist. Just the truth.
Backed by two weeks of his administration saying it was the video that caused the attack and not a coordinated effort by terrorists.

That is EXACTLY what Romney's point was. That obama couldn't bring himself to admit that this was a terrorist attack. So much so that immediately after his rose garden speech he went top two fundraisers.
To obama this was just some hissy fit of a stupid video.

Then maybe he should have said, "the president did not call it an act of terrorism".

Then he would have been correct.

But Romney didnt... he said "acts of terror", and as Obama did say that, he was called on it, fact check, no matter what, He did state "acts of terror".

Semantics? yeah it counts when you are calling him a liar....

the fact that Romney politicized it before ANYONE knew what the case WAS (beyond an act of terror) bit him in the ass but HARD.

He believed his own lies and got called on it

FACT, look at his face, he looks like he got told santa wasnt real while he was swearing blind he was.

And if that is all you can focus on, you do have serious issues.. Bye bye.

And maybe obama should have called it a terrorist attack from the start instead of spending two weeks saying to was a spontaneous act caused by an obscure video.
AND maybe obama shouldn't have lied about it last night.

    Yes he did:
    http://newsbusters.org/blogs/...

"... President Obama, though, wasn’t done with Kerry Ladka. “After the debate, the president came over to me and spent about two minutes with me privately,” says the 61-year-old Ladka, who works at Global Telecom Supply in Mineola, N.Y. According to Ladka, Obama gave him ”more information about why he delayed calling the attack a terorist attack.” For background, Obama did apparently lump Benghazi into a reference to “acts of terror” in a Sept. 12 Rose Garden address. However, he spent about two weeks holding off on using the full “terrorist” designation. The rationale for the delay, Obama explained to Ladka, was to make sure that the “intelligence he was acting on was real intelligence and not disinformation,” recalls Ladka."

Oh my goodness. I'll give you something to focus on. Before Ambassador Stevens and the three American body's were cold Barack Obama was on the campaign trail to Las Vages, Colorado, Letterman, The View, Beyonce and some Rapper's party.

He and his team, Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton, Jay Carney, David Axlerod and Robert Gibbs spend the next two weeks lying to the American People so the highlight wouldn't be taken away from Obama killing Osoma.

I'm glad Mitt Romney acted Presidential and commented on the attack. The Obama Administration wasn't going to bring it up, they were working on a cover up. The American People should be demanding answers from this Administration.

I think you're taking what he said out of context. Obama said in the beginning:

"And make no mistake, we will work with the Libyan government to bring to justice the killers who attacked our people. Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths.

We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None"

Two thoughts were implied here: He refers to attackers as "killers", not terrorists. The next paragraph brings into play "efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence". These aren't the words from a President who believes Benghazi was a terrorist attack.

Obama doesn't mention "Terror" until near the end of his speech. And it comes after making comments about the 9/11 tragedy and not Benghazi.

    Here is the exact text:

"Of course, yesterday was already a painful day for our nation as we marked the solemn memory of the 9/11 attacks. We mourn with the families who were lost on that day. I visited the graves of troops who made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan at the hallowed grounds of Arlington Cemetery, and had the opportunity to say thank you and visit some of ou...

I visited the graves of troops who made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan at the hallowed grounds of Arlington Cemetery, and had the opportunity to say thank you and visit some of our wounded warriors at Walter Reed. And then last night we learned the news of this attack in Benghazi.

As Americans let us never, ever forget that our freedom is only sustained because there are people who are willing to fight for it, to stand up for it, and in some cases lay down their lives for it. Our country is only as strong as the character of our people and the service of those, both civilian and military, who represent us around the globe.

No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for"

Mr. Obama followed this with two weeks of blaming a video for the violence.

I agree Mr. Obama said the word terror but you have to look at his entire speech and not cherry pick.

Do you find it odd that Romney called Obama out for blaming Benghazi on some unknown video and not terrorism, Obama didn't challenge when he was challenging everything and calmly stated "Go On". Next Susan Crowley steps up and defends Obama and says she happens to have the Rose Garden transcript with her. Obama said "Read It For Him" , Crowley reads the remark and Michelle starts clapping.

    I don't believe in consequences.
