    You don't have a clue as to what he discussed with them. The Mormom community is very big on helping others & not making a big deal of it. So it is very likely he knew more than you want to credit.

    You don't get it. I am asserting it is just as probable that he was involved by helping them beyond talking to them. All you think can help people is the Government. However the truth is the most reliable and effective force for helping people when they are having trouble is other people, not a bloated bureaucracy.

    And she needs to apologize with an apology that actually sounds like she might mean it; otherwise, I'd be just as happy if she just sat down somewhere and closed her mouth. As for the big O, I would probably have thought he had some leadership qualities if he had called her into his office and told her to keep her mouth shut and think before she opened it to speak again. Having done that, when asked about her remarks he could have said he and Ms. Rosen had spoken and she now understood the concept of thinking before one speaks and the matter was being taken care of.

    Let's not glorify Ann Romney. She is a mother and a woman who chose to stay home for various reasons. There are thousands of staying home moms. It is true that is not an easy job to raise kids and take care of the house. But it is also very true that Ann Romney cannot relate to thousands of women, sometimes single mothers, who work hard to take care of their households and kids. Mitt Romney makes and made millions so, his wife didn't need to work. Pure and simple. What is it so offensive about that? She can't relate.
