NEW YORK – A New York City
principal has pulled the plug on patriotism by preventing students from
singing "God Bless the USA" at their graduation.
The decision has sparked fireworks at a school filled with proud immigrants.
Greta Hawkins, principal of PS 90, the Edna Cohen School, will not
allow kindergarten students to belt out the beloved Lee Greenwood
ballad, also known as "Proud to be an American," at their moving-up
ceremony.
Five classes spent months learning the patriotic song, which
skyrocketed in popularity after the 9/11 attacks and the 2003 invasion
of Iraq.
It was to be the rousing finale of their musical show at the June 20
commencement. The kids, dressed up for their big day, would wave tiny
American flags -- which, as the lyrics proclaim, "still stand for
freedom."
But Hawkins marched in on a recent rehearsal and ordered a CD playing
the anthem to be shut off, staffers said. She told the teachers to drop
the song from the program.
"We don't want to offend other cultures," they quoted her as saying.

Anyway.. I retract my benefit of the doubt answer ... again, my apologies to the people who prior to this gave me raves...

I think her comment as her not wanting to offend " other cultures" stems from ... IF there is ever a clear open public investigation.. with her attached to a polygraph and chemical use of "truth serium" in her system... might show something else affected her better judgement ... such as fear.
the "other culture" she does not want offended could probably/possibly be muslims., my opinion. Many many NYers are still quite fearful. Perhaps sh...

Who knows but her and whoever... IF this is ever investigated I would LOVE to see the PUBLIC made aware of the polygraph and chemical resulting answers. AND then.. if anyone gave her any veiled threats.. those persons should be prosecuted for hate crimes against American freedom, deported to Dubai and banned forever from the USA.
God can love anyone he/she/it wants , even Americans and even muslims. That there are some who do not belief in God at all is fine as well. That "other cultures" who enjoy life in the USA do not like what they hear here... they are free to leave and hopefully the door will not strike the collective gluteousmaximusses exiting...and object to what the God they claim they belief in ... can do is ridiculous and is further proof those such cultures do not have faith in God at all in any way .... but only themselves and their desires/greed for power and traditions/religions. Men and prophets and religions and books and cultures and traditions are not God.
AMERICA must live free.
The school has multiple other weird problems ongoing, including emptying of the bladder problems.,....

It s time for the USA to stand up to defend itself from these ridiculous " multi-culturalists " ( IE; muslms ) who belief that their attack 9/11 means they own us , as their hadith of Bukhari states from Muhammed instructions .... for those of you not aware , the entire ruse to plant a "multi-cultural " center on the 9/11 site has nothing to do with "peace" but is part of the intruction of Muhammed ( Source : hadith of Bukhari ) to all islam to build new mosques wherever a major battle against the enemy of islam/shari'a ( IE: any and all non muslims )
Americans need to read qa'ran and hadith of Bukhari in a hurry with their own eyes and let NO ONE not even me, tell you what those books state.. simply read them with your own eyes.. not websites about them..but the actual books. THEN and ONLY THEN will all of America honsestly SEE exactly what islam/shari'a is and does everywhere it goes , even in America . EXPELL this mess from USA asap.
AND we NEED to become absolutely asap energy independent so we do not need to be beholden to ANY foreign nation nor should we allow any foreign nation to own any of our energy supplies or companies in the USA.
Let us get THIS nation back to freedom and let our independence day have special meaning.
