What should be banned is another term for Mayor Bloomberg the billionaire bunghole! This man has billions of dollars to do whatever makes him happy but he has nothing better to do than tell us how much sodapop we can purchase per container?!?!? He wants to limit the size of sodas per container to 16 ounces in certain places of business. What a foolish man! Maybe I should tell Mayor Bloomberg that having wealth beyond 16 billion dollars is clearly not healthy for the interests of society! Let's see how he'd answer to that!

If he was serious about the citizens' health, he would do something about the air quality in the City. Have you ever seen empty taxis constantly cruising, looking for fares, unnecessarily polluting the air?

If someone wants to drink soda, let them. It is there health and the gas bag should stay out of it. He makes me sick, sick, sick!! I think he is totally off his rocker.

It's actually a pretty smart, money-making conservative corporatist's idea. Raise the price on the new Lg. drinks, and sell more because many people don't limit themselves to just one 16 ounce drink. Another hell with the people- corporations' profits are what counts.

Is Bloomberg going to limit the number of 16 oz. drinks a person can buy at a time? Just wait until the government starts telling you how many hours you can watch TV (or limit the stations available and/or broadcast times) so you get up and exercise.

Mayor Bloomberg is someone who has no respect for the Constitution, and revels totalitarian rule. The man is one of the greatest enemies to the Second Amendment of the 21st Century, and tries to pass that off as "sensible". There is nothing sensible about his position on the Second Amendment, or on much else, and the former should inform everybody about the later. A lot of people think the Second Amendment is some sort of antiquated joke, and that could not be further from the truth. The way a person views an individual's right to defend himself/herself is directly corollary to how that person views individual freedom in general. Mayor Bloomberg is a threat to individual freedom in general, he is part of the political slime that thinks government knows best, and there is nothing, and I mean nothing more un-American than that.

bloomberg threat individual freedom general political slime thinks government un-american

it is not a philisophical thing with him it is stickly graft, money and power, the usual standbys.Folks in nyc know that thes fake haelth laws are for the most part unenfoefoceable they are stically shakedowns for inspectors commisioners licensing people code enforcement and the police,no business can operate in nyc if it had to be 1005 legal the only ones who get cited for violations are the ones who dont pay off wise up!

Has he made lots of money?
    Yup, he has indeed.
But he has used his money to run for office, and he got elected.

His record over the past ten years shows abundant evidence that he likes the government to have power over what people can and can not do, and that is Big Government. He will not be in power forever, but giving the government power over people's lives, that can last forever.

Clearly, Overlord Bloomberg's policies on guns to salt to soft drinks have little or nothing to do with money, and have everything to do with nanny state policies to keep people safe from themselves. That is totalitarian, and that is unAmerican.
